How to Start Your Own Skool Community....
Hello GrowthWorks Community, I'm pretty active around here and like to help others when I feel I can. I'm also a member of the Skool community, and today I responded to a question that I thought might be of value to share here as well. QUESTION: I've been thinking about starting a community myself and am curious about those that have, how long did it take to "get off the ground?" MY ANSWER: I'm not sure there is a perfect answer to your question other than it depends on where your ideal members hang out today. If you have an email list, then invite them to your community using a "one benefit a day" drip campaign that includes a link to join. If you have a FB group, post a message that you will be migrating the group activity to your new Skool group on xx/xx/xxx date, sharing 3-4 reasons why you are doing so (less distraction, free courses, gamification, community support, etc), if you have a newsletter then make this the feature article on your next issue. I have a Skool group and consider it to be the #1 entry point for my ideal avatar (real estate agents and brokers) to enter "my world". I have done all of the above and my group is growing with people who resonate with the mission (getting off FB). I am toying with the idea of running a FB ad campaign since so many real estate agents troll FB...but I want to complete my HTO and a few LT offers to make the numbers work before I start paying to grow the community.
