How is everyone pricing greenery? Wreaths, garland, etc... 100% markup the standard?

We have been in business for a few years now a want to start collecting deposits. I was thinking 20-30 percent upfront wanted to hear what you boys think about that. Secondly I was thinking how do you guys collect deposits ? I was in touch with a company who can take them through CC but charges 3.5 percent. Do you Maks the customer pay that ? Or do you pay the 3.5 percent on the 20 percent deposit and if they wan to pay with CC for final 80 percent they are responsible for the fee after that. Anyone have a great place to order yard signs? We spent $4.54/sign 18" x 24" double sided with stakes for 1,000 signs delivered last year and are running out. Any cheaper options out there?
