I recommend reading Risale-i Nur, a spiritual Qur’anic commentary (tafsir) by Bediüzzaman Said Nursi. It is probably one of the most difficult books I have ever tried to read. Personally, I recommend starting with the Twenty-First Flash (just to get idea about this book). Twenty-First Flash is commonly known for its discussion of sincere devotion / ikhlas (sincerity). Try reading it. I am sure you will like it. This book is not always an easy to understand. Sometimes you understand the idea immediately, and sometimes you may need to reread a passage, sometimes you might need explanation. It's all part of its depth.
