🎶 Favorite Song Roll Call 🎶
Hi friends! I thought it might be fun to get to know each other (and especially welcome our new members) by doing a little favorite song roll call. Drop your all-time favorite track or something you’ve had on repeat lately in the comments 👇 I don’t know about you, but something has really shifted for me over the past week. There’s this sense of expansion on the horizon, especially with summer approaching, and I can feel that energy starting to build. Whenever I’m in that inspired space, I turn to music. But lately… my algorithm has been feeling a little stale 😅 So yes, this is slightly self-serving but also, who doesn’t love discovering new music through each other? Especially with such a diverse and global community, it can be like a music trip around the world! Also… a little moment to celebrate 🤍 This month we welcomed 47 new members and we’ve officially grown to over 1,000 in this space. That’s 1,000+ humans choosing rest, reflection, and connection. Pretty special if you ask me. A very warm welcome to Sarah Smith • Jane Mount • Bo Moon • Eva Lua • Rosie Mathisen • Dana Ponec • Susan Watkins • Denis Lemay • Reginald Perrett • Frisia DiAlma • Moon spinner B • Bruce Gunn • Lisa Labrado • Hannah Schwartz • Rosetta Ngonyamah • Berkman Bozkurt • Angie Evans • Are Zomer • Nicole Rich • Greyson Marcott • Gwen Kerr • Conni Krause • Sharyn Adams • Brittney Wadsworth • Emily Zallas • Andrew Twyman • Adrian Pohl • Erik Eck • Linda Van der wal • Michal Starosciak • Jorge Silva • Emmi Adler • Tanisha Quiroz • Keila Sigurdson • Avi Cohen • Cc Kelly • Emily Stevens • Catherine Brickhill • Justyna K • Ana Salcido • Kellie June • Rhian Linecar • Stacey Padilla • Susan Zinck • Stacey Chartres • Alex Bodi • Linda Ryan • What are you listening to? 🎶

Adjusting to a partner's mental decline
Has anyone in the group found help from yoga nidra to adjust to a partner'a mental decline? My beloved husband seems to be getting worse by the day. I am finding it very difficult and am looking for suggestions of particular yoga nidras that might help. Thank you.

State Three | The Flamekeeper
"I know so much about myself. I've done so much work. So why does my mind still feel this loud?" This one is close to my heart, because I lived here for a long time. The Manomaya Kosha is the mind layer... the seat of thought, analysis, self-reflection, and that very particular kind of exhaustion that comes from being highly self-aware. The Flamekeeper has usually done a lot of inner work. You understand your patterns. You've sat with hard things. You show up for yourself, for others, with real presence and real effort. And still, there is this. The mental noise that doesn't fully quiet. The inner voice that keeps weighing, measuring, wondering if you're doing enough, being enough, resting correctly even while you're trying to rest. The beautiful and slightly maddening thing about this layer is that the very intelligence that helps you grow can also be the thing that makes it hard to land. There comes a point where the most profound thing you can do is let the mind loosen its grip, even briefly, and discover that something deeper has been here waiting. That's what this work is really about. Recognizing yourself in this state takes a lot of the pressure off. You stop trying to think your way into peace and start giving yourself permission to actually experience it. Even a single Yoga Nidra practice can show you what it feels like to move beneath the noise, and once you've felt that, something starts to re-organise. The mind becomes a collaborator rather than a critic. To learn more, join our VIP Supporters and gain access to our LIVE | States of Rest I'd love to see you there. ✧ You've worked so hard to understand yourself. Now, let's let you rest inside that understanding. ✧
