When I was in San Pancho, Mexico, I got into a little routine. SHARE your morning routine below! Wake up before sunrise. Walk down to the ocean with @Laura Rose Sit with the waves for a while before the world woke up. One morning, I realized… this would be the perfect sound for a Yoga Nidra. So I recorded the waves you hear in the Pisces practice (in the Pisces season... like come on how perfect) right there at dawn. There’s something about the rhythm of the ocean that just naturally slows the nervous system down. It reminds us that we don’t have to fix or figure out everything… We can simply observe the tides moving through. Very VERY Pisces.... hey @Thomas Scheppat and @Arno Koch !? The little prayer I placed into this practice is simple: that you feel complete and whole just as you are. If you listen, come back and tell me how it lands for you. And if you feel like giving it a little love on YouTube (comment + like), that tiny gesture really does help the practice reach more people who might need it. Also… send it to your ocean lover firends and Pisces humans 🐟 Nova Nidra Supporters | Listen Here Free Members | YouTube

I generally wake up with a million racing thoughts so I like to start my day by imagining all of the thoughts leaving my mind, leaving my body, swirling down a drain. especially this time of year in the winter, I often begin the day with just candlelight and either a Nidra or just sitting in quiet stillness. I like making that connection to natural light, when nature itself - the outdoors - feels faint and distant.
The comfort of YN
I have been practicing Ayla‘s YN pretty well from the beginning of when this YouTube channel was born. At today’s MRI scan I was quite apprehensive because I get claustrophobic. You get offered to listen to music while you’re in the tube. I wished I could have listened to a Yoga Nidra session instead. So I went through my own body scan and although I couldn’t calm my nervous system completely, it still helped a lot. And for this I am grateful! I wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I can definitely relate. I leaned on so hum breathing when I had laser eye surgery done. Heike I can't wait for you to begin your own scripting in the teacher training! I found the ability to guide my own nidras to be the most magical regulation tool 🤩

@Heike Peck so relatable. I also struggled with writing in school, creative writing specifically. You will find a way of writing that aligns with your authentic expression, I’m sure of it! Excited for you!
28 DAYS of remembering... YOU ARE ENOUGH
You voted… and I Am Enough is the Yoga Nidra of choice. 🌕 We chose the full moon image. She is whole, luminous, steady. Even when part of her disappears in shadow, nothing about her worth changes. I’ve always felt that three days before and three days after a full or new moon is where the real awareness lives. Not in the peak itself, but in the soft edges around it. A threshold. A noticing. And in eclipse season, especially, this is less about dramatic release or bold manifestation. It is about presence. About being with what is true right now. Physically. Energetically. Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually. Let yourself simply witness. Consider how far you have come to be here. The version of you who first found this practice. The version of you who almost gave up. The version of you who kept going anyway. You are enough. Let this Yoga Nidra be something you return to again and again. Not only during this cosmic weather, but whenever you forget. Whenever the shadow feels louder than the light. 🌕 SHARE 🌕 For those of you who completed the 28 days, or did your very best to show up, I would love to hear what resonated most. What shifted? What surprised you? And if you feel called to go deeper, our VIP Supporter spaces are open. It is only $22 USD rn. No contract. No commitment. You can cancel or rejoin anytime. Your membership supports this offering and quite literally helps bring my dreams to life so I can continue creating spaces for peace and rest. If this work has supported you, that is one beautiful way to support it back. I AM ENOUGH | 25 MINUTES Thank you for being here. Thank you for trusting my pure and expansive dream to bring you peace in rest.

@David Green relatable. I'm a mom and no where close to retirement, though I must say the afternoon rest feels more like a lifeline than an option most days. 🙏

I took a walk downtown with no aim or final destination in mind. Just walking for the sake of walking. Taking in the vibration of the city. That was soothing.
