(NOT SO) shocking new GLP-1 findings
It's like I've been saying this whole time… GLP-1 drugs are NOT a weight loss panacea. I'm not saying these don't have a place in medicine at all… For some people with SEVERE metabolic dysfunction, perhaps they can be a tool (when all else has failed). But for the VAST majority of humans, GLP-1s are a huge NET NEGATIVE in my opinion. Of course, the mainstream media, longevity enthusiasts, celebrities, even some pretty smart individuals I respect have been singing praises about GLP-1s… How millions of peoples’ lives have been changed. Hundreds of pounds lost. Overeating and cravings silenced. Behaviors changed. Confidence regained. But a major new systematic review and meta-analysis published in The BMJ just gave us the answer to the question we’re all asking… What happens when you STOP? The study looked at 37 studies involving over 9,300 participants who discontinued GLP-1 medications after losing weight... And guess what happened? Weight regain was FASTER than what we see after behavioral interventions like diet and exercise changes - about 0.3 kg (0.7 pounds) per month faster. And people were estimated to regain a significant portion of their lost weight within 18 months But here's what really caught my attention... It's not just the weight that comes back – your hunger signals return with a VENGEANCE. When you stop taking GLP-1s, your appetite doesn't just "normalize"... It actually rebounds HARDER than before. The research shows that weight loss triggers compensatory responses in your body – increased ghrelin (the hunger hormone), decreased leptin, reduced metabolic rate, and ramped-up appetite signals from the hypothalamus. GLP-1 drugs artificially suppress all of this while you're taking them... But the second you stop? Your body's defense mechanisms kick in HARD. Increased hunger... reduced satiety... greater cravings... decreased ability to resist food. It's like your biology is PUNISHING you for trying to take a shortcut (sounds familiar?)
Yes I don't think those shortcuts are doing anything with habit changing either. The benefits of fitness surpass those injections/shortcuts. Mental health wise, fitness and good foods boost energy and happier feelings.
7 Amazing Healing Powers of Aloe Vera
1. Skin Aging Aloe is an established topical remedy for skin. But a 2009 study found that taking aloe orally reduces facial wrinkles. In the study, 30 healthy women aged 45 or older received aloe vera gel as a supplement. One group took a low dose (1,200 mg/day) and the second group took a high-dose (3,600 mg/day). The researchers measured signs of skin aging at the beginning and end of the study. After just 90 days, the researchers found that facial wrinkles improved significantly in both groups. However, in the lower-dose group, facial elasticity also improved. How does it work? The researchers found that aloe increased collagen production, resulting in improved skin structure and fewer wrinkles. They also found that aloe decreased gene activity that causes collagen damage. 2. Psoriasis Swedish researchers found that a cream containing aloe vera is effective in treating psoriasis. They conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 60 patients with psoriasis. Patients were given either an aloe vera extract (0.5%) cream or a placebo cream to apply three times a day for five consecutive days per week. The study lasted 16 weeks, with only four weeks of active treatment and 12 months of follow-up. By the end of the study, the aloe vera cream cured 25 of 30 psoriasis patients, or 83.3%. Only 2 of 30 patients in the placebo group were cured (6.6%). 3. Cancer Consistent with its other skin benefits, aloe vera may also prevent and treat skin cancer. A study from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine found that aloe vera and its constituents inhibit skin cell proliferation associated with skin cancer. The researchers irradiated human skin cells to simulate sun damage and trigger the process of proliferation that leads to skin tumors. They found that treating cells with aloe-emodin, a constituent of aloe, significantly inhibited proliferation. This confirmed aloe's benefit in halting tumor progression following sun exposure. But its cancer effects aren't limited to skin. Studies also show that aloe vera may help prevent cervical cancer. A study published in the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention found that a cream containing aloe vera, curcumin, reetha, and amla (brand name “Basant”) is an effective and safe therapy for the clearance of cervical human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Researchers studied a group of women with HPV that had not yet progressed to high-grade cervical neoplasias (i.e., cervical pre-cancer). Of the women who used the Basant vaginal cream for 30 consecutive days, 87.7% cleared the HPV infection compared to 73.3% of the placebo group.
I remember using the gel inside aloe vera on my face to hydrate at night and wow in 4 months, it transformed my skin but you have to be at it consistently. I have to go back to that.
You can heal yourself!
You can completely heal yourself, no matter the issue. The ancients all knew this. But modern medicine convinced us that we are broken and need their pills to fix us. However, if a fish is sick, you don't blame the fish; you clean the tank. And then you give the fish what it needs to thrive. The same goes for humans. We're all sick today because we're living in toxic environments and deficient in the nutrients needed to repair. Seed oils, artificial lights, air pollution, toxic fragrances, pesticides, endocrine disruptors, overstimulated nervous systems...we are swimming in the most toxic soup in history. We are all basically walking dumpsters. And then deficient in the nutrients critical for detox, repair, and regeneration. That is why I do what I do. To put together the ancient traditions that we've all lost access to. To remind people that we can heal and that you are not the problem (well, unless you're vegan and guzzling seed oils). And to give them the foods and nutrients they need to repair and regenerate.

Earth has what we need to take care of us. We have to recognized that we were being brainwashed by big pharma and pcp doctors who are so quick to give vaccines and pills for their monetary gains. I heard someone on podcase say that we are our own healer and we need to do the work ourselves. I don't have enough knowledge so we are starting out with Dr. Serge's office to help with this journey.
