@Marissa Breedijk hello! I’m having the same “struggle” I appreciate you posting and I will be trying this too. Rooting for your progress to get on top of the rings and hoping I can too.

Strength, Timing and ROM for you T2B
I've been absent from the page! I spent a bit over a week helping some friends on their farm up the east coast here in Australia, and between the brutally hot sunshine and manual labor I was absolutely TOASTED at the end of the day! But, I'm back! I just finished editing this video. The intention of the video is to educate the athletes who join my First 4 T2B program about the necessary Strength, Timing and Range of Motion for the T2B, but the concept I think is good for everybody to consider when they are doing their T2B sets and find that something is a bit off. Getting your feet to connect to the bar at the same time your torso reaches its furthest back position is essential to consecutive and fluid reps, as well is your feet reaching their furthest back position when your torso reaches its furthest forward position. If you have a few minutes to watch this video, I would love your feedback and hear if it applies to your training.

@Travis Ewart good video - I’m analytical so the pie chart and breakdown of strength timing and ROM made sense. Also felt that people learning would understand why they will be doing high volume incomplete reps and how it will build to eventual goal. Only thing I could think of is if you inserted video of you missing - you described 2 situations where you would be off rhythm. I understand since I’ve experienced but new folks may not. Hope this helps

I need someone to post a video. Something you're proud of, or maybe want help with would be great! Let's use this page for what it's designed for!

Well I’ll put myself out there. Still working on that kipping RMU Travis. I took time to work on my strength over the past few months. My ring dips are back and I’ve been working a lot of false grip holds. This video is one of my last attempts in early September looking back my shoulder was not 100% so that’s probably some of the tentativeness. Getting close to trying again as I am stronger now. What do you see?
Training the Butterfly Chest-To-Bar Pull-Up
I just posted this video to @Chase Chastain's post (as BFly C2B is what he's currently working on) and thought it might be a good video share for the group. Would you guys watch the video and tell me your thoughts? What questions come to mind when you watch this? I know the topic of the video is about the positioning of the movement and not the power production/mechanics, but is there anything about this video you would like to discuss in detail? https://youtu.be/xZhfdRPiRwo

I like this a lot; wish I had this when I was learning butterfly CTB. It makes sense and seems like it would develop the strength a bit more and the body awareness. I learned by doing a lot of singles and finally getting the strength and the rhythm. Questions that come to mind - how do you train to get your chest to make contact with the bar, how do you develop the rhythm to get your chest to brush the bar on the way down, how do you develop the rhythm to string them together. But if I was just learning this would help along with doing singles.
