I adore orchids and found this one growing in my yard unexpectedly. The flowers are SO tiny, grow in a spiral pattern and are one of the few wild orchids with a scent 😍 🤍 Nodding Ladies Tresses (Spiranthes lacera) has some traditional uses, but should not be harvested, due to their rarity.

I grow herbs and flowers in containers and tend my yard full of native wildflowers. 💖💖🌼🌸 This year I want to try growing potatoes outside, in a bag, but I'm worried about wildlife getting to them. So, I may have to try growing spuds in my windowed garage, because squirrels and raccoons have eaten all the food that I've tried to grow outdoors thus far. 😢 🥕🍅🥒🎃

@Hannah Messer I like the idea of milk crates! Maybe if I make a crate tower and add some rocks, the squirrels won't be able to get at my taters! 🤠👍
