Roast My LinkedIn Newsletter?
Started my LinkedIn newsletter today as a companion piece to my upcoming TunedIn Digital Marketing newsletter. One of the major themes is going to be my experience in music journalism. Would love it if you read/roasted/subscribed. Here's the background: "The day before my grandfather died, I interviewed the lead singer of my favorite band, Adam Duritz of Counting Crows. It was bittersweet to be doing something so thrilling in the midst of such a tumultuous season for my family. My grandfather was never a big rock fan, but he loved gospel, country-western, and barbershop quartets. I'm glad we share a love for the art of creating and listening to music. Read on to hear about my experience: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/we-all-want-big-stars-chris-k-davidson-lbive

I enjoyed the read! I am not a huge Counting Crows fan (mostly because they were a hair before my time) but in reading this can feel how much you love their music. I can't say I have much for feedback on it except for your first sentence maybe choose a a more specific dramatic way to convey how many bands you have interviewed. Instead of "so many," you could say, "dozens. Other than that I don't see much to be changed!

@Jack Robinson Appreciate you taking the time to do this! That vido is a professional branding video we made 2 years ago that I added here as a place holder until I have time to make a proper VSL. Then that second picture used to be the first thing so will definitely delete. Thanks again!

๐Ÿ“Œ How Much Are You Prepared To Invest?
I thought I would share this one here in full. There is a message in community in Skool, that begins here... There is a simple story that has been shared in many forms over the years. A pig and a chicken are out for an early morning walk. They pass an orphanage where children are playing outside. The chicken watches quietly for a moment and says, โ€œYou know, we should do something for those poor children; maybe a bacon and egg breakfast?โ€ The pig pauses, thinks for a second, and replies, โ€œEasy for you to say. For you it is a donation. For me it is a commitment.โ€ At first glance, it sounds like a humorous exchange. Yet beneath the humor sits a powerful question that applies to business, mentoring, leadership, and personal growth: How much are you truly prepared to invest? ๐ŸŒŸ The Difference Between Contribution and Commitment Many people begin their journey with good intentions. They want to help, build something meaningful, or make a difference. Like the chicken, they are willing to contribute. They will give time when convenient, share ideas when inspired, or offer support when it does not cost too much. There is nothing wrong with contribution. Every effort matters. However, real transformation usually comes from commitment; the moment when involvement moves beyond occasional participation into something deeper and more personal. Commitment asks more of us. It requires consistency, responsibility, and sometimes sacrifice. ๐ŸŒŸ Mentoring and the Investment Question When mentoring others, this difference becomes clear quickly. Some individuals seek guidance but remain cautious, testing the water without fully stepping in. They want change, but only if it comes easily. Others decide to commit. They show up even when progress feels slow. They apply what they learn. They stay engaged when enthusiasm fades and discipline must take over. As mentors, we often see the difference before they do. The question is never how talented someone is. The real question is how much they are prepared to invest in their own growth.

Roast The Wolf Pack ๐Ÿบ
Hey all, I am new here. I have been doing health and fitness coaching for 9 years. I have done explicitly high ticket in that time, but when I found Skool I loved it so much I decided to try a low ticket model. So, I created The Wolf Pack ๐Ÿบ - helping men advance in mind, body, and purpose. Would love some roasting - don't hold back! Here is the community link again: https://www.skool.com/the-wolf-pack/about Cheers, -Michael

@Kim Job In the VSL I mention guys who are guessing at getting healthy (i.e. trying to do it themselves). But good point, might be worth it to call our a more specific demographic
