Can humanity conquer nature? Once someone reaches the summit of Mount Everest,they often say they have conquererd it and are often supposed to be like super heroes.Is that true?In my opion,they can only say that they have overcomed themselves at that time.For when we disappear some day,the summit may still be there. I respect everyone who conquers themselves,but I stand in even greater awe of nature.Typhoons,heavy rains,floods,earthquakes,volcanic eruptions,etc,these natural phenomena for our human beings are disasters,but they are the way that nature adjust itself.Even now,most of us are living in a much better living environment,but sometimes we have to struggle for survival against the elements. Here,I truly recommend the great documentary A Perfect Planet.
