Hey family! Here is a video of me using my COPET Method (Composer Oriented Piano Expression and Technique) Method. It’s using storytelling to create compositions and improvisations. As well as I use the same tool when it comes to repertoire I’m learning. The purpose is for you to develop not just your piano technique, but your artistry-so that your audience can relate to the story you’re telling them through the music. In the video I’m thinking of my granny who passed away February 2025, and I decided to create an improv. The melodies you will hear, even down to the phrasing of the melodic lines tells the story of how much I miss and cherish my granny. Enjoy this personal, sentimental improv. Dedicated to my granny.

Family! I want to say to those who may feel shy or uncomfortable with posting their practice…I know the feeling all too well. lol. However, the best way to get feedback is to be comfortable out the uncomfortable and put yourself out there. So far only a couple of people have posted recordings of themselves.
