Here is an improv song I played for my neighbor’s horse. Just for the fun of it:) I played for him before and he ran away. So I decided to play low notes to keep it calm. You can hear my footsteps as I walked close to him and walked back. This is some of the fun we can have with improv. Haha 😂

Always start simple!

I invited @Sheri Hudgins to jam with me here at Mueller Lake Amphitheater because of the unique sonic qualities of this environment. I encouraged her to send her loudest louds across the lake and to play her quietest quiets to those just under the amphitheater roof. Here's a 𝑚𝑓 moment captured while I played on the cyr wheel!

Congratulations @Julie McKenna on your debut as a public improviser!! Was this your first time improvising out there in the real world?! Great job! Looking and sounding like a rock star up there!!

One of the assignments Vic gave me for my lessons, is to play improv and include one of the hymns I am working on, in a public location where people can hear me. I went to a city park down the street and played. There were some people out and they heard me:) I like that I did it! I like that I incorporated It Is Well and had some ebb and flow. Next time, I would like to put my diva hat on and play with more dynamics and emotions. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but it is good exposure therapy:)
