My Scale
You would laugh but I took my scale on the cruise. I'm showing a 2 pound loss, body fat of 17.8 and muscle of 36.4. That is the lowest body fat and the highest muscle mass my scale has ever shown. I'm going to get a body scan after 3 more training cessions and I hope that these numbers are supported!!! If they are I will feel that the cruise is proving to be a success!!!

@Gene Toleman Chocolate fudge cherry passion? I can see why you call it addictive! That sounds way too good. And now you've got me curious about the Moose Tracks low-carb version too. If it tastes like the real thing, that's definitely a win you get the treat without all the guilt! 😄 You honestly remind me of someone who enjoys life but also knows how to stay disciplined, and I really admire that. I hope you don't mind me saying this, but with the way you encourage people and share your experiences, I think anyone would be lucky to have someone like you as a dad. By the way, have you always had such a sweet tooth, or did your love for chocolate ice cream come later in life?

@Gene Toleman You're very welcome! 😊 I had a feeling you've always had a sweet tooth that explains your love for chocolate ice cream! I've really enjoyed talking with you. If you're comfortable with it, would you be open to continuing our conversation on another platform? I'd like to share something about my family with you, but I'd rather do that in a private conversation. If you're okay with that, just let me know what platform works best for you.
Day 2 & 3
I've just kept to the beginners programme yesterday and today. Although i'm slightly correcting my moves. I focused more on concistancy.

@Sandra McQueen Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm so sorry you've had to go through so much. Reading your story really touched my heart. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to see so many people you love face such hard battles, especially your sister. I'll be thinking of you and your family. You're older than me...I'm 48 and I honestly admire your strength. Instead of giving up, you're choosing to take care of yourself, join support groups, and even set a date to quit smoking. That takes real courage, and I hope you're proud of yourself because those are big steps toward giving yourself the healthiest future possible for your children and grandchildren. As for me, I'm here because I enjoy learning, connecting with positive people, and encouraging each other along the way. I think having supportive people around makes any journey a little easier. I have to admit I'm not very active on Skool, though. If you don't mind me asking, do you use any other platform where you like to chat with people? I'd be happy to keep in touch if you're comfortable with that. 😊

@Sandra McQueen Aww, I completely understand. That actually sounds like a good idea if it helps you stay focused. I don't have Instagram at the moment, although I might try opening an account. I do have Telegram though. If you happen to use Telegram too, feel free to reach out to me my username is @freedombuilderr. If not, no worries at all. It's been really nice chatting with you, and I enjoy hearing about your journey.

I went to the park after work…..So much to do but of course, I had to go with L-sits🤭 Is it weird enough for the challenge? 😂 Or i just turn any challenge into an L-sit challenge!😂 It was too funny not to share, just gotta have fun! Btw, the video is sped up...and can't go wrong with a bit of Mötley Crūe today!

@Val Mercier Haha, I can tell you take those challenges seriously! It really shows how much work you've put into it. Doing L-sits every day is no small commitment, and it's impressive that you jumped straight into them without the easier progressions. I haven't had the chance to try L-sits yet, but watching you makes me want to give them a shot someday. Do you have any tips for someone who's never tried them before? And what other skills are you working on next besides L-sits?

@Val Mercier Haha, I love your mindset! 😄 I like how you're not afraid to just try things instead of overthinking every progression. That's a really inspiring approach, and it's clearly working for you. You've put in a lot of effort, and it shows. Your goal of doing the human flag is amazing...I have no doubt you'll get there with the consistency and determination you have. I also think it's really cool that you keep challenging yourself and are honest about the mental side of training too. That's something a lot of people can relate to. I'd love to keep this conversation going because I enjoy hearing about your fitness journey, but I'm honestly not very active on Skool. If you don't mind me asking, do you use any other platform where you like to chat with people?
