šŸ”„ Win Wednesday šŸ”„
Let’s talk honesty. What happens when you get really honest with yourself? Really clear with yourself? Usually, it starts with a little discomfort. Then clarity hits.šŸ”„šŸ”„ The clarity of where you need to shift.
The clarity of where you need to grow.
The clarity of where you need to pivot. That’s what I want to celebrate today. ā¬‡ļø ✨ The moment you asked yourself: • Why didn’t that haircut turn out the way I wanted? • Why hasn’t that client returned? • Why am I not feeling lit up behind the chair anymore? I know we’ve all had one of those moments this week. So think back and share your clarity moment below. What did you realize? And more importantly… What did you do with that realization? šŸ¤” Because that moment—that honest moment—is where change begins. And once you’re willing to see what’s really there, growth becomes inevitable. ā¬‡ļø Hear me when I say this: Not everyone is willing to look inward. Not everyone is willing to ask the hard questions. Not everyone is willing to take responsibility for creating something different. But you are. And that’s worth celebrating. Drop your wins, your clarity moments, and your breakthroughs below. We can’t wait to celebrate with you. ✨🄳 I’ll go first. šŸ‘‡

@Julie Facer just a blonde babylight and lowlight but blondes are the thing i get super scared of haha also i know this client has had issues with not getting the results she is after in the past, she was a bit of a colour correction too but she was super happy. I spent a long time on the consult and managing expectations and educating her throughout so i feel like she was much on on the same page as me by the end and i think that made the difference.
Intro post
Hi everyone, my name is Amy and I’m a newbie here. I graduated Cosmetology school in 2024 at the age of 49. I’m a previous RN and left nursing to pursue my hair dreams! I work with one of my high-school friends who is a MUA and Esthetician and has her own business! I’ve never worked in a ā€œsalonā€ and rely on lots of online subscription education! I’m excited to see what’s available here.😁

Hello!
My name is Miki and I actually haven’t been behind the chair for 6 years, I quit doing hair when Covid hit. I was at a corporate barbershop, burned out, and my elbow was going out thanks to a fun case of tendinitis. I want to get back behind the chair, but doing it the right way, no corporate salons, curating my clients, and only doing haircuts which are my passion. I have a hare brained scheme to do this that involves a part time job, renting my own suite, and hitting the ground running. Starting from square zero with no clients and delusional dreams of my dream work life and space is terrifying, but I trust in my skill and ability to make people feel good with my cuts. I’m here to build my skills even further and feed my delusions 🤣🤣 but seriously I have always needed the why to understand what I’m doing and it’s so hard to find it in hair education…or at least it was when I was behind the chair. Excited to learn and grow

I had a brilliant day today with a very nervous 4yo little boy - he let me cut his fringe! Was my third session with him, no tears no upset just so happy with his progress! A win for sure x
