I know for sure that my estradiol has taken a dip when I feel a little "dry", have difficulty achieving an orgasm, experience lack of focus, low energy.

Tired and a little depressed. Before I started HRT 7 years ago(when perimenopause menopause dropped on me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere)I would wake up super early feeling a sense of dread and doom that would last all day... Within a day or 2 of Prometrium and the patch, it was gone. I was totally shocked.
Noticing changes?
For those of you on HRT, what would you say were the first notable changes you experienced after starting your protocol? What improvements stood out to you the most? For me, I saw an immediate improvement in my brain fog. I'm talking in the first couple weeks, it felt like I could finally have a coherent thought. & I also noticed that I wasn't as irritable or over stimulated all the time. That really stood out to me because I was SUPER on edge all the time before starting my injections. 🥹 I'm curious to hear what you guys experienced!

Almost immediate end to intense anxiety and waking up very early in a panic. I had never had either of these things before and I imagine that it was the progesterone that stopped it in it's tracks. I also had depression as a result of that weird anxiety and that went away over the course of 3 months. Orgasms also returned to normal after they started to get weaker in peri. Lubrication all came back to normal as well as I started getting a little drier than normal in peri. All joint pain also disappeared.
Introducing myself
Hello there, I'm Christina Huxley and I've been in the care of ElevateMd(happily) for almost 3 years. I am 55, started experiencing disturbing symptoms of perimenopause at 49 and started on patches and prometrium. Then went to creams which worked until they didn't and then to injections almost 3 years ago. I couldn't be more satisfied and confident with the care and advice I receive from ElevateMd. :) I'm always open to share my experience regarding perimenopause, menopause, fibroids, adenomyosis etc...
