How To Reverse Your Cardiac Aging With This Vagus Nerve Longevity Breakthrough
Your heart is basically a high-maintenance drummer that occasionally forgets the tempo as the years go by. In a recent study, researchers gave "senior" minipigs—roughly 70 in human years—a high-tech neurological spa day. By repairing the vagus nerve with bioengineered "extension cords," they gave these hearts a fiber-optic upgrade. While the control group’s hearts acted like grumpy old engines, the "repaired" pigs kept their youthful, piglet-like rhythm. It turns out "fibrosis" is just fancy heart-clutter, and fixing the nerve was like hiring a cleaning crew to sweep it away. Inflammation plummeted and the mitochondria started acting like they were at a high-energy dance party. No mid-life crisis, no slowing down—just a heart that refuses to acknowledge the calendar. If we can keep a pig’s ticker this perky, we’ve found the "ctrl-alt-delete" for cardiac aging. I think you're going to find people who have been stimulating their Vagus Nerves are going to outlive and outlast their non-VNS peers. Consider it my prediction, you can count on it. https://www.nature.com/articles/s44161-026-00783-w

How To Reboot Your Internal "Calm" And Calm The Chaos Around Your Vagus Nerve
Meet your Vagus Nerve: the internal Wi-Fi that’s supposed to keep your body chill. It’s the longest nerve you’ve got, acting like a high-strung air traffic controller for your heart, lungs, and gut. In the world of POTS, it’s like that controller took an unscheduled nap. Standing up shouldn't feel like your heart is trying to win a marathon it never signed up for. When you rise, your heart rate spikes 30+ beats per minute. It’s not a "morning workout"—it’s a glitch in the autonomic matrix. Without a strong vagal "shush," your body gets way too sensitive. Lights are too bright, sounds are too loud, and your blood pressure is basically doing parkour. The good news? You can actually "hack" this nerve back into gear. Think of it as a manual reboot for your nervous system. Deep breathing, humming, or belt-out singing in the shower isn't just for fun—it’s biological recalibration. You’re literally vibrating your system back into a state of "calm down, please." By toning this vital nerve, you’re turning down the volume on the chaos. Less dizziness, more vibing. https://www.skool.com/vagus/vagus-nerve-disfunction-and-pots

Did You Know Vagus Skool Has a Breathing Module in the Classroom ? Prep 4 Ultra Breathing
Think of your vagus nerve as the body’s internal "chill-out" hotline. It’s a long, gossipy nerve wandering from your brain to your gut, telling your heart to stop acting like it’s in a horror movie. Most days, our nervous system thinks a typo in an email is a literal saber-tooth tiger. We’re stuck in a permanent state of emergency, but your breath is the secret override code. By stretching your lungs with slow breaths, you ping the vagus nerve to send a "Stand Down" order. Try the 4-7-8 trick: Inhale for 4, hold for 7, and exhale for a very dramatic 8 seconds. That long exhale mimics a sigh of relief, tricking your brain into releasing acetylcholine—nature’s favorite relaxant. It’s a biological "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" for stress. Master these invisible levers in our Advanced Breathing Techniques module. Your inner T-Rex will thank you. https://www.skool.com/vagus/classroom/024e41a0?md=fd3a7e919c084380a86eb277c40f7300

Please help a gal out so I can get to level 2! I want to learn more about using my US device. I tried the handheld ultrasound device years ago and didn't notice anything. I have a radio frequency device I'm using currently with 3 settings and the calm setting helps me almost immediately when I'm overexcited or stressed. I have a type of Systemic Mastocytosis and my 24 hr urine histamine norepinephrine and catecholamines are all very elevated. So in this state until I can get a full diagnosis and proper treatment I need all the help I can get to stay calm with those chemicals running around in my poor body. 😊

Late Night Snacks Are Hacking Your Vagus Nerve - Killing Its Ability to Recover Properly
Late-night snacking? You're hacking your vagus nerve. - In a Bad Way !!! Think of your vagus nerve as your inner chill conductor. Meal timing can either lead to a standing ovation or a train wreck. Late-night feasts? Your vagus nerve throws fits. They disrupt melatonin & stress response rises. Time-restricted eating? Vagus nerve's in the front row, cheering! Imagine magnesium as the vagus nerve's VIP pass. Load up on spinach, pumpkin seeds, & avocados. Magnesium deficiency? A sad trombone solo for relaxation. Optimize magnesium during the day & relaxation amplifies. Better gut vibes, immune zen, & emotional equilibrium. Vagal vitality? It's not just a buzzword; it's a lifestyle. https://www.skool.com/vagus/classroom/e0e30f75?md=b279e561130045eeab9e080f91cb4e46

Spinach and avocados are high histamine foods. If you're eating those and waking in the wee hours and can't get back to sleep it's because of those foods plus histamine increases after midnight.
