Building cages/connecting endpoints
I am having a heck of a time getting endpoints to connect to curves or other endpoints. I thought they were supposed to turn purple when connected (that's worked for me), but in this case neither purple nor green endpoints indicate success. First image: cage with end guides, plus longitudinal guide that is currently showing green endpoints (purple points = failing as a loft guide). Middle image shows initial loft (using guides with purple connections??). Third image shows loft failing when longitudinal guide is added in, along with error message. I don't why I'm not getting this crucial skill down, but joining endpoints is the CRUX of cage building. I can't move forward until I figure this basic step out. Any help is appreciated!

1. tested where the disconnect was. 2. pulled the disconnected point back, let it go, then snapped it onto the curve by holding opt as I dragged it around. 3. That connected the profiles and end guides. and a propper loft could be made. 4. Your front guide was prohibiting the loft’s continuity (It dipped bellow the extruded plane’s profile) so I adjusted its curve. Let me know if any of that is unclear.

@Adam England the image below looks like you got it so congrats! Re: keyboard it was ALT my mistake. And I sympathize with the constant rebuilding of curves. Been there and done that many times. I am not noticing a color change when a curve end connects with a curve.
Live curvature combs? Currently temporary.
Is there a way to make the curvature combs (measure curvature) stay on while adjusting the curve? Currently I am able to view it but am unable to adjust the curve without the comb disappearing. @Nikita Kapustin ’s video shows a toggle but I am guessing that was a beta feature has morphed into “Measure Curve”
Guide issues on lofting main form of helmet.
Going through my first tutorial— the motor cycle helmet. I've been trying to get the side curve to guide the loft of the main form but an error keeps being thrown. “At least one guide is not touching one of the profiles. I have zoomed in as close as possible and the end points of the side profile seem to be connected to the top and bottom curves. Additionally, if I loft the top and bottom curves I can use the side profile as a guide so I know it is connected. Any help would be appreciated.
