You’re Not Undisciplined... You’re Unstructured
I’ve always thought I was disciplined. But there were long stretches where my actions didn’t match that belief. In 2022, I was around 255 lbs, inconsistent in the gym, and not confident in how I looked or felt. I wasn’t broken. I just didn’t have a system. Once I started changing how I structured my days, the weight began to come off and my confidence slowly came back. Not overnight. Brick by brick. That’s when this clicked. Without a system, motivation fades fast. Here are the three things that actually helped: 1. Make the right choice easy. Lay your clothes out. Pack your bag. Remove friction before the day starts. 2. Stop negotiating with yourself it’s already decided, don’t reopen the conversation. Your goals matter more than how you feel that morning. 3. Make starting stupid simple & clear non-negotiables. Simple daily plans. Consistency over intensity. I’m not sharing this because I have it all figured out.
