Love it, Shane!!
Weigh day 😊
Today after 14 weeks of being a member of HHA, I think I've missed 3 workouts, I am very strict with my calorie intake and my accountable weight this morning is 88.2kg (13 stone 12.45 lb) or (194.45 pounds) only 0.2Kg less than last week but let's put this into perspective, 14 weeks ago I weighed 116.7 Kg (18.37 stone) (257.28 pounds). I was classed as obese with a BMI of 34.8 today I am classed as overweight with a BMI of 26.3 😊 which does not sound good but! If I drop my BMI by 1.3 I will actually be in the healthy range! I find this hilarious because I have never been classed as healthy even when I was abled bodied. So now with a incomplete spinal cord injury and wheelchair reliant I will be classed as healthy by the medical fraternity 😂

Forget the BMI portion of this, just the simple fact that you were able to drop 63 pounds in 14 weeks is amazing and a testament to your commitment. Freakin’ awesome job Shane! Keep it up, brother!
Crazy idea for calorie burning!
Well, I tried to use an exercise bike whilst in intensive physio but could never get comfortable with the seat on their bike and they always had me in a harness which was restrictive. I decided I would give it a go and for £142 on Amazon I purchased this, spent yesterday afternoon building it with my gimpy hands, managed to get on and started to pedal but my right leg spazed and went straight off the pedal and I ended up with the pedal in the back of my calf. So this morning I had another go after lowering the seat and did 1 Km, which burned 28 calories. Need to go further but it's a start. I used to go road cycling when I was 15 up to the age of 21 and did 125 miles in one day once but on average around 60, done mountain biking off road and grew up on a BMX and come off a few times ever, knocking myself out after some epic crashes and some pretty insane jumps but survived, paved my way to MX 2 stroke 250cc bikes and 1000cc road bikes which was my passion (If you want to see the amazing road race in the World you tube Isle of Man TT. So I thought I'd show you my new toy and my glamorous mounting and dismounting technique. Enjoy 🙂💪❤️

April 16 - April 22: Let's post our goals!
My goal for this week is to continue doing stretches everyday AND to make a few different stretching routine variations that I can cycle through! What are your goals for this week!?

@Nolan Watson I agree with Brittney, I would like to read some. I love poetry so I think it would be so cool to read some of yours!

My goals are to keep standing every day and to add a different exercise at least 3 days next week — ie going to the gym or going for a “roll” around the hood as the weather gets nicer next week. I also have the goal of reading Atomic Habits by our next meeting (well, who am I kidding, I don’t like to read so I’ll listen to it!!).
Worksheet
Hey Brittney! Apparently I’m tech challenged as I can’t seem to find the downloadable worksheet 🤷‍♀️. Would you kindly assist with this! Thank you!

I am the same way. I just came on here to ask as well so hopefully Brit can shed some light.

Hi, I’m Chris. A freak tree cutting accident at work 4 years ago left me a T4/T5 paraplegic. Now I’m just trying to find my way and my new purpose.
