@Ray Newland i have a question not answered in your vault I’m afraid 🤣…. How do you help young goalkeepers with the feeling of guilt / fault in letting goals in, and get them to realise it’s not their fault when defence is poor!?

My daughter is playing a lot of futsal now. She’s U9’s. Is it worth getting her some futsal gloves or just stick with her regular gloves? Not sure whether there is any technical benefit v protection?

So we had a weird one the other weekend. U9 girls playing boys in a league match - my daughter tried to dribble it out of her box to push up the field as she’s confident with the ball and the ref said she wasn’t allowed. For the rest of the game she wasn’t sure if she was allowed out the box so hung back. What’s that about!?
