[REPLY REQUESTED] You’re about to vanish from local search — and not even know it
Hey there, This might be the most important post you've read in the last year. There’s a massive shift happening right now in local search — and most agencies and business owners have no clue it’s already affecting them. It’s not just about Maps rankings or website traffic anymore. That was the last game. The new game? AI-driven platforms — like ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Alexa — are now answering people’s local questions directly… ...without showing your website. ...without showing your map listing. This is what’s called a zero-click search — and it’s exploding. And not just on Google, but directly in chat bots. Soon, most people will only get their answers inside a chat bot. No one clicks. No one visits. They just read the answer and move on. The Big Fat Problem: If your business — or your client’s — isn’t showing up in those answers, you're gone. No clicks. No calls. No visibility. Just… missing from the conversation entirely. And here’s the kicker — you won’t even realize it’s happening. Your rankings might still look fine. Your site traffic might not tank. But leads will slow down. Clients will start asking questions. And you’ll have no idea why. This is exactly like the Maps vs Organic wake-up call back in 2016 or so, but now it’s happening across every modern search surface — and it’s spreading fast. We’ve been thinking about putting together a low cost training that shows what’s really going on here — and how to fix it before it’s too late. If we did that, would you want to see it? Just hit reply and say “interested” if this sounds like something we should put together. Warmly, Brian and Mike Maps Liftoff Team

Apple Maps Local SEO
I’ve had an increasing number of requests about getting ranked at the top in Apple Maps. Will our methodologies help here @Mike Clay ? Thoughts?
Does this really work?
I love keeping an eye on changes/updates and trying to isolate one set of changes to see how it affects rankings. This is a pretty quick bump up in market share... For a large volume, competitive term in a major city (Fort Worth, TX). For NDA reasons I can't provide the search term, niche, company info, etc. BUT, check this out... the only major change my team has made for this client in the past week... Is adding SAs and BPs pointing to the SAs/SILO as well as a YouTube video. We also used speedyindex.com to get all of the pages indexed super fast. And, BOOM. 8% market share to 58% market share in FIVE days. The client did go from 1 to 3 reviews in this timeframe... But, most of the top players have 30-60 reviews... So, while the reviews may have helped... I don't believe it was as impactful as the thematic content updates above. Hope everyone is crushing it. Go get 'em!

@Erik Isbrandt The SAs are about a specific service (e.g. SILO is Roofing Services ; one SA could be Roof Repair while another SA might be Roof Replacement). The BP can talk about any topic related to roofing. The BP can link back to the main SILO and/or the SA. So, if you have a BP about “How to know which roofer to work with” you can link to one of the SAs or the main SILO. Top down structure that gives authority to the main theme of the site (Roofing). Hopefully, that helps !

@Jonathan Fudge still adding to it and rankings are still there. Owning the area and getting consistent calls in. Every niche/location is different.
How Much has the Training Changed.
Got a question. I had the paid maps training for a long time . I understand there is a new updated training. Approximately how much is change? Im just looking for information as to do I need the new training, what is the benefits and features. Thanks, everyone. P.S. Is there a video or some kind of explanation that someone can reference me to?

@Mike Clay 5 days went from 8% market share to 58% market share and the only change was thematic relevance and speedyindex.com to index the pages.
Law Of Attraction/Assumption In Your Business and Life
I’ve got a question for my fellow business owners—how many of you have ever used the Law of Attraction or Law of Assumption to REALLY grow your business? You know, the idea of manifesting clients, opportunities, and success through deep mindset shifts. Through gratitude shifts. I’ve personally been researching and practicing this stuff daily since 2016—seriously, hundreds of hours of diving deep into it and living it. And it’s been a massive game changer for me. Over the years, using these principles has helped me generate millions of dollars for my business. I know it sounds a bit “out there,” but for me, it’s been massively life-changing. I’m curious where everyone else stands on this: - Have you tried it? - Did you get results, or do you think it’s just a load of BS? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences—especially if you’ve worked it into your routine or had any success stories. Or if you think it’s nonsense, I want to hear that too! Let’s chat!

Absolutely! One of my favorite quotes... "You are what you think." If you think your product isn't as good as everyone else's, you will project that. If you think your product is cheap/expensive, you will project that. If you think you aren't as good as other expert marketers, you will project that. If you think you deserve to help a lot of people and make a ton of money, you will project that. (One of my best friends is the most capable person I know, but he doesn't think he's good, doesn't want to be "too expensive" so he charges less for his time (he does great work for cheap), and always down on himself... hence, he's not doing great.) Last thing I learned - Do not compare yourself to others in your market and get bummed about someone else being "more of an expert" than you. Compare yourself to your client.. do you know more than they do? If yes, then you are an expert. I used to compare myself to Neil Patel and would get bummed thinking, "I'll never be at his level." I made this shift and started comparing myself to my clients/prospects and it completely changed my conviction, tonality, and confidence when speaking with them. Are we truly making an impact and helping people? I think about this a lot. WE ARE! Effective marketing can truly can change lives. We are doing great things. When you help a client bring in more revenue that helps them and their family out as well as their employees and their families. Not to mention if they are a good company providing quality work that is helping out their community with a great service offering. Manifesting to help more people out to help change more lives is something I think about/practice often and has really helped me out, personally.
