May Leaderboard Winner ๐Ÿ†
Whoop whoop, we have a winner ๐Ÿ’… The member who interacted the most last month was @Chloe Payne (again ๐Ÿ˜†). As promised, we're going to be adding her personal invite link to the Instagram page, so that any new members who join via our social media marketing will automatically earn her a recurring 40% commission off their membership ๐Ÿซถ Think you can beat her this month? ๐Ÿ‘€ Start posting, commenting and liking others' posts to climb the leaderboard ๐Ÿชœ

Thank you so much! This is really exciting ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿค
It's the 1st of the month!
Yay! Yay! Okay soโ€ฆ I'm going to be completely transparent with you guys ๐Ÿ˜‚ I tried a nail art challenge last month, and I think it's safe to say it wasn't exactly everyone's cup of tea ๐Ÿซ–๐Ÿ˜… โ€” and that is totally okay! I would so much rather try things and find out than never try at all ๐ŸŒป SO. New month, new idea ๐Ÿ’› I recently did a live where I was painting a set of press-ons and let the people watching choose some of the elements and it was SO much fun ๐Ÿ˜ Like genuinely one of my favourite things I've done in here so far. So I want to do it properly this time ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’… The idea: a monthly live "roulette" where YOU guys are basically my creative directors ๐Ÿ˜‚ You hop on, drop a suggestion (something like "blue ombrรฉ" or "cow print"), and I'll throw it into the set. No plan or rules, just vibes and whatever chaotic, beautiful thing we come up with together ๐ŸคŒ The first one is scheduled for Monday the 8th at 9am NZT ๐ŸŒป It'll run for a few hours, so there's no pressure to be there right on time - jump in whenever and have your say ๐Ÿซถ To get us started, I'm going to drop a few comments below - please respond with your first suggestions so I know where to begin! Even just one idea from you makes such a difference ๐Ÿ’› Let's see what we create ๐Ÿ˜†๐ŸŒป

HELP!
Hi wonderful people Iโ€™m so sorry Iโ€™ve been so quiet. I have been taking a break because Iโ€™ve had lots going on and only very slowly just starting to get back into things. Now I have a question and it is to do with contact dermatitis, roughly 6 to 7 months ago I had a little bit of a breakout which I thought it was due to some nail oil that Iโ€™ve used and I probably think it was expired or something, but it happened Instantaneously like it happened the night of that it started to break out really bad, but now it happened again. This time Iโ€™ve used completely different products however the kicker is Iโ€™ve had my nails on for almost 3 weeks now and I havenโ€™t had any issues any breakouts no lumps no bumps no itchiness so Iโ€™m just wondering can you still get a reaction even though youโ€™ve had them on for just under three weeks if you need clarity or anything to help problems solve please let me know. I will be grateful for any advice that I can get! The only thing I think it could be which this is a longshot. I was doing my partnerโ€™s nails the other night and I had this little jar of acetones like a little glass jar and I was washing my brushes in it now Iโ€™ve gone to rinse it, but I havenโ€™t had a chance to wash it yet. Iโ€™m thinking Iโ€™ve washed my hands one night whilst itโ€™s been in the sink because itโ€™s had like a little bit of water and still gel stuck inside the glass and Iโ€™m thinking potentially I couldโ€™ve dipped my hand in the water which the gel is on the glass of the container and Iโ€™ve washed it and hence thatโ€™s gotten a reaction, but Iโ€™m not 100% sure it could be that.

Oooooo YAY!! I've been wondering where you've been hiding ๐Ÿคญ I'm so excited to hear you're getting back into it ๐Ÿฅน I'm also really sorry to hear that you're experiencing these reactions. Early on, I was having these exact reactions also and it's less then fun ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿฅบ It does sound odd that you've had a reaction so long after you doing your own set, so I would assume it could be from doing your partners set. I rarely breakout now, so I think it was because I was practising sooo heavily on my nails in the beginning. I also believe the brand of gloves I was using originally was contributing to it also! So maybe look into that. You can go to the doctors and get a cream to apply. It was a godsend for when I was breaking out so regularly. I hope this helps in some way x
Tutorial Filming Set Up
If youโ€™ve been wanting to film tutorials but werenโ€™t sure how, here is what I do ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ“ธ Things to note: - I use an iPhone 12 to film (I will die on this hill: best phone for content creation) - I prefer a lighter background because it reflects light and doesnโ€™t absorb it - this is what makes it clear and bright. You can use darker backgrounds if it better suits your style, but you would just need to invest more in lighting ๐Ÿซถ

Okay, I've watched anddddd I do similar but I find when I'm working (particularly on clients) I end up having the back of my hand in frame more then the nail ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ I will invest in one of these arm holder thingys though and see how that goes x
Builder Gel Tip ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ
When applying builder (soft or hard) gel, giving the product a few seconds to self-level before curing can help it smooth out naturally. Tilting the clientโ€™s finger slightly also encourages the gel to flow into place. Patience here often means less filing later.

I'd love to see your soft builder gel application. I'm still trying to improve this. I currently use a smaller brush to scrub the product into the nail plate, and then go in with a blob on the bottles brush. I push the blob towards the cuticle, push side to side, but stop before the end of the nail, and then use a liner brush to get to the sides and cuticle.
