Sure, let me share my sequence of success. My number one is inner peace and happiness — the most important thing for me. I believe you have to take good care of yourself, physically and mentally, before you can help anyone else. It's like what flight attendants always tell you: put on your own oxygen mask before helping others. If I have no energy, or I'm sick, or I'm overwhelmed, I won't be able to support the people around me. So that's why I put inner peace and happiness first. Second is the ability to help others — once I've built a stable, healthy life for myself, I want to use my time, knowledge, and resources to make a positive difference in other people's lives. As for my least important, I'd put the chance to travel near the bottom. Travel is enjoyable and it broadens your horizons, but it's not a foundation, not a must-have for a successful life. It's more of a privilege than an essential. One more thing I want to add about inner peace — even if I reach my dream career, if I'm not happy, if I'm anxious, then success feels meaningless. That's why inner peace comes first. Even career — my dream career, which I ranked third — isn't as important as inner peace. We can't pour from an empty cup; we can't take care of others if we're already empty.

Some employees turn down the promotional opportunities. I believe that in some particular circumstances, refusing a promotion is not always a bad decision, instead, it can provide us some different way of life. I will present my opinion from work-life balance and personal development to support why refuse a promotion sometimes is an another options. To begin with, without a healthy work-life balance, life can become meaningless. I love exploring the world by traveling. It allows me to learn more about different countries' history and cultures. I don't want after promotion, I will become busier so that lost trip time. As a result, analyze the pros and cons is really crucial before saying yes to a promotion offer. Observing the higher position employees is a smart way to get information to visualize about future life. Have they overworking and shirking day off date? Have they been shifted more responsibility after promotion? Think through these questions, comprehensively evaluated before making any impulsive decisions. Secondly, individuals have different life stage. Some people tend to focus on family life or leisure activities more than career development. Accepting a promotion may bring some potential challenges such as handling complex tasks or working longer hours. Employees should have consider personal goals. For example, do they need to pick up their children after work? Some people need a stable job to support their interests. One of my friends she is always off work on time because she also runs her own gallery. She needs a stable income to support her dream. In this case, accepting promotion may not not be the ideal choose for her to steadily create art pieces. In conclusion, despite the fact that promotion can increase employee's position and salaries, it is also important to consider whether it may become a future burden. If a promotion creates more pressure then benefits, I believe that turning it down can be a better choice.

@Stella YangI’ve tried to wake up early, but I find myself much more focused and comfortable working at night. So waking up early is too challenging for me, and since my work schedule is quite flexible, I don’t need to force myself into an early routine.
