Keep It Simple, Stupid.
Something a professor told me way too many years ago…and it’s still one of the most valuable lessons I’ve ever gotten. Overthinking is killing more progress than lack of knowledge ever will. Perfectionism sounds like a strength…but most of the time it’s just fear dressed up as “standards.” I see it everywhere right now: - Trying to learn everything before starting - Rewriting things 10 times before sharing - Looking for the “perfect system” instead of using one Here’s the truth: Imperfect action > perfect Inactions every single time! AI makes this even more obvious. You can: - Get to 80% in minutes - Refine a little - Ship it Or… You can sit there tweaking something no one has even seen yet. If you’re stuck, try this: - Build version 1 fast - Limit yourself to small edits - Put it out Progress doesn’t come from perfect thinking. It comes from: action → feedback → improvement Keep it simple.

I agree, too many hours wasted overthinking! Keep it short & sweet!
Did anyone else Down Under do this? 🫢
It's a bit embarrassing So in New Zealand it's Thursday 11 am AEST and I got up nice and early to attend before realising we are a day ahead... I was 24 hours early. 🤣🤣🤣 See you all tomorrow!!

What a wonderful fallout for this summit, an increased awareness how we are riding in different time zones and have this common interest! How alike we are from different lands & languages!!
Hello from Goderich, Ontario 🇨🇦
Signed up for the AI Summit to better inform myself so that I can understand the world my 3 grandsons are entering. At 13 & 11 years of age they are already engaged with computers and with both my son & son-in-law working in tech support the boys are beginning to know about coding. Where will AI take them in life? After this first day I am realizing that there are opportunities for this 80 year old grandmother to see ways she can discover advantages of using AI in the world of seniors! Travel, community opportunities, household financial management are a few that come to mind. A bit about me…I am a graduate of McGill with a degree in nursing, worked mostly in administration, prepared childbirth and community family support. I also trained as a teacher of Yoga, practicing for over 50 years, teaching for 20. Now retired, widowed, I moved to Goderich Ontario in 2023 and enjoy this small but vibrant community, location of world’s largest underwater salt mine and known as “Canada’s prettiest town”. 🙏
