🌀 THE ADDICTION TO LOWER EMOTIONS
Why your brain secretly prefers stress, and how to stop playing its game. Let’s talk about a pattern nobody wants to admit. Not another motivational quote to push through. Not another positive affirmation to mask the noise. Not another promise that "tomorrow will be better." This is about understanding the chemical baseline of your brain. Because for years, I didn’t realize I was caught in an invisible loop. I would wake up, immediately check my phone, feel a sudden spike of anxiety, and carry that heavy, frantic energy into my entire day. At the time, I thought I was just stressed by my environment. But eventually, I learned a profound truth about human biology: The body can become addicted to its own stress chemicals. When you live in survival mode for too long, a state of constant rush, worry, or self-doubt starts to feel familiar. Familiarity feels like safety to an unmapped nervous system. So your mind actively looks for things to worry about just to maintain its favorite chemical cocktail. True biohacking isn't about adding fancy tech to your life. It is the art and science of intentionally shifting your inner environment. It is remembering that you do not have to be a passive victim of a low-vibe state. You can hack it. Not by fighting the thoughts in your head. But by changing the rhythm of your breath. They aren't lectures to study, they are immediate neural circuit breakers. If you are waking up heavy, feeling stuck in your head, or crashing hard in the afternoon, stop trying to think your way out of it. Master your biology instead. YOUR PRACTICE TODAY: 1. Interrupt the Morning Loop: Head over to the Classroom and dive into the State Hacking Series. Pick one of the 6 episodes to explicitly shift anxiety or low energy into an aligned, high-vibe experience using active breathwork. 2. Anchor Your Transitions: Open up Daily Rituals™. Use a mid-day reset tool before you reach the point of total burnout. 3. Protect Your Sleep: Stop scrolling before bed. Let your nervous system safely surrender to a deep recovery cycle using the Sleep Ritual Meditation & Breathwork

This one definitely hit. I have been feeling this way a lot lately, stressed, anxiety and low as soon as I wake up. Thinking about my life, problems, how I want change but relying on the idea that it’s all external - job, relationship, etc. It’s happened subtly over time, but I’m noticing how much it’s ruling my life, and affecting not only my mental but physical state. I understand change starts within, but applying that change can feel overwhelming, or like you don’t know where to start. This was the first thing I read as I woke up this morning - definitely needed this! It’s the ‘little’ things that make a big difference. Thank you for sharing and the great reminder! I will start my practice today at 9 ☀️
Authenticity Is Magnetic
a little reminder... no one is you. and that is your super power. 💓 I always ask Pavel or my kiddos, what is your favorite thing about you today?? We are often so critical about what we did wrong, but not always take time to notice what about us is right :) Drop it down below. "what your fav thing about you is today."

My favorite thing about me today is my love for true connection with others. I can see magic happen when I meet someone and let things evolve. Who knows who you will meet today and where they will lead you, like guides walking us through life. I got told recently that I had a very ‘sparkly’ energy. Such a sweet compliment that I put in my pocket for later. That is something I love about me, when I feel sparkly I know I’m on the right path. Also just want to touch on your point of how difficult it can be to speak positive things about ourselves. I notice myself immediately not wanting to become too egotistical or ‘braggy’ and sometimes downplay the things I know I’m really good at. Definitely a practice to be more clear and certain about strengths and our gifts! We all have something to offer the world. Thanks for the fun prompt!

The last few weeks I’ve been trying to channel more play in my life. Noticing stressful patterns I’ve put on myself for years, and how much I’ve tried to control/dictate myself and others to stay “safe”. This is a huge theme in my family - stress, control, and a disconnect from the feminine. I’ve recently been working to release these feelings - incorporate more play, not take life so seriously, and channeling feminine energy. And this morning - I saw a river otter running through my yard! When I googled otter medicine, this was what popped up. Felt like a really cool connection. For anyone that needs permission to be playful and to let go of the pressure you put on yourself…This is your sign ✨

Hi I’m Chelsea - I live in Washington state. I’m joining to be part of a community that I can return back to when Im needing inspiration and support! I am working to become more self aware and change patterns that have been detrimental to myself and others, usually rooted in fear. So much stress, trying to control, and anxiety I put on myself which has lead me to many negative emotions. I am ready to let go of perfection, allow things to be, laugh, and just be present with you all. Excited to bring the spark back in life ✨
