You don’t need all 17 šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø but this video gives a great breakdown with realistic numbers. Which one is your favorite? https://youtu.be/AbcKIXrbo5k?si=BmAMP3Iw3OHXWMbk

She's a dynamic speaker. I like the speed of the video it moved through nice nice. The music in the background could have been a little bit lower. She had some great ideas. It's funny how she talked about a book is two different ideas of the 17. Writing the book is half the battle getting it published and that is when you are 50% done. Because marketing it and selling it is the other half of the battle. Unless you get on Oprah's list or New York times list which is a huge uphill battle You're lucky to sell a few here and there. She lost me though when she was giving out a web address and said backslash. Because it's a forward slash. And I know where it came from. There was a joke that a comedian came out with at the time of the OJ Simpson murder trials. And I forget the joke but part of the punchline was OJ Simpson was backslash backslash Nicole and whatever that guy's name was. But the truth of the matter is that it leans forward. But so many people call it a backslash. It's just wrong. So I've written four books three are business books One is essentially obsolete The other two hardly sell they were published by Prentice Hall collegiate and primarily used in schools or startup businesses small businesses etc. And I think most of us are doing affiliate marketing. Which is slow to grow but there is consistency. And you had another post naming about a dozen places that you could do quick links to earn commission and that's essentially affiliate marketing. Because you can put it in a blog or a social media post and that link can live for a long period of time and people can click it and you can still earn the commission. And I really believe that the entire travel industry is going to affiliate marketing direct and in a weird way working around travel agents. Because it's a numbers game. Many travel agents have their preferred suppliers whether it's a hotel or a car rental or a cruise line. And that's what they sell 80% of the time. And I've seen pretty much all travel services company offering payment directly to any affiliate whether they are travel agent with an iata number or not. At least half of my bookings with viator are direct through my affiliate number. And not through the travel agency that I host with. So I'm earning 8% direct with viator instead of earning I think it's 5% after my split with my host. And I can give you another dozen examples too but we'll save that for another time. Good video to get you thinking.

Aww. How could this article possibly overlook one of the islands of Italy or Greece? The island of Sardinia one of my absolute favorites especially the southern part of that island. The town of cagliari absolutely spectacular. Smack dab in the middle of the Mediterranean.

I know I’m missing some. Comment below if you have more to add to the list. These are companies that offer cobranded or ā€œshare with clientā€ links where the customer can book themselves and you still make the full commission.

There are dozens - some have cookies expiring in as few a 24 hours, others last 30 days. Many will pay you directly, if you have a website blog to qualify - no IATA # needed.
Let’s play a game!
