Thank you all so much ❤️
Im really overwhelmed in a good way by the welcome and support on here. Thank you so much to everyon. Richard, you are incredible 🙏❤️ I have the app now 🤣 Im very self aware that I can very self indulged so if I ever come across that way please call me on it. I do care about others so very much but on the surface I can appear self indulged, all about me, attention seeking and a bit of a drama queen. If I ever match a story with yours please know im not trying to steal your limelight, im trying to say I understand because ive been there. Anyway, sorry for the long status, ive bored myself 🤣❤️ Weekend blessings all. ❤️

Yvette, you are very become here, this is your place to vent! I am also autistic so can overshare and be inappropriate, I also take things literally so it takes me longer to get jokes! again I apologise if I offend anyone on here, all my thoughts and comments are sent with much love and compassion 😍❤️
Strong sense of justice
Just seen one of Richards Tiktoks re the podcast. He touched on the strong sense of justice element. Is this a thing in ADHD? Or is it seen more in people with ADHD who have suffered abuse. The reason I ask is because this is a problem for me and id like more understanding so I dont ruin anymore relationships because of it. Its almost a black and white thinking. I also split as well badly. I love her, by Wednesday I hate her. 🙈 anyone else? ❤️

Hi Yvette, I have both justice sensitivity and complex PTSD so it’s a mix, but I do know it’s an adhd trait. However there is a thing called epigenetic inheritance where trauma genes are inherited. The was tragedy in my great grandparents lives which I’m sure has also been passed down to me. I fight back and have had 2 nasty court battles, but it has taken much out of me so I have started to let things I would normally fight go. The justice system stinks and solicitors and barristers can be vile which doesn’t help the RSD!

Thanks Yvette, thankfully the trauma ends with me, I stopped the bad mother trait and am very proud of that. I’m still strong, everytime I get kicked down I get up stronger, this it’s the Welsh in me! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Seriously clumsy
I don’t know about you folk but I can have days when I have fights with tables, doors, chairs or I am just damn unlucky. Not that I will walk into the table once, but several times. This evening I turned on my kitchen tap, the pressure blew off the metal seal on the pipe and water sprayed everywhere. I certainly don’t do things by half 😆

@Kate Withers lol you are my dyspraxia twin! perhaps it is dyspraxia? I was suspected but never assessed. It would be great if there were meds for it! Luckily both my children haven’t inherited it. My daughter is ADHD but she is not clumsy. 😅

@Kate Withers Perhaps it is dyspraxia then 🙄 I know there used to be treatment to help with coordination if dyspraxia, but have no idea about availability and diagnosis!
Vibe
Loving the vibe in the tribe…. Ooooooh VIBE IN THE TRIBE …. right now… Keep up the posting and sharing connection and vulnerability and humour… If you’re not sure whether to post; it’s fine for you to just read; if just being here is good for you, it’s good for us… if you wanna stretch out a bit.. maybe start with a comment and test the water… No judgements here - other than the obvious… hate speech against any person, group or demographic, spreading of misinformation or selling without my approval… This is our space. These are our people. And I’m starting to sound like a bit of a cult leader… gonna stop that now My brain is a browser with 47 tabs open and I’m trying to convince everyone it’s multitasking…. but it’s not… there’s 7 cat reels, 4 football scores, 25 songs, 3 random memories, the next script & a business plan (version 5743)… There… I guess that about sums it up

@Nathalie Rockmer go for it, what are your business plans? We are also very creative and determined ADHERs, it’s my goal to be on Dragons Den one day, just need the right idea! 💡
Jaw clenching
Hey all, just wondering if anyone is suffering with jaw clenching(bruxism) when on meds? And have you found anything that helps with it please? I’ve got a gum shield(Amazon one) as I’ve not been able to get to the dentist yet,I’ve had Botox. Still trying to figure out what might make it worse, but in the meantime I’m back to blowing bubbles off my tongue, which stops me from clenching.
