Which “blind buy” would you warn other brothers about...and why?
My „no choice(s)“: The complete “Les Extraits” collection from Parfums de Marly. Uninspired, poor longevity (for PdM fragrances) and overpriced. Add to that implausible stories about unique ingredients from their own mandarin plantation...etc...I am really disappointed and even a little angry. There are so many better products within their own brand!
Introducing: The House Five
Every fragrance house has depth, history, and dozens of releases.. but not all of them truly define the brand. In this series, we’re doing something simple (and difficult): reducing each house to just FIVE fragrances. No hype. No rankings. No right or wrong answers. Just the scents that matter most.. based on wearability, legacy, impact, and personal connection. Each post will feature one house. You comment your Top 5 from that house. Over time, we’ll see which fragrances consistently rise to the top.. and which ones quietly earn cult status. This will also help those starting to explore a new House.. First up: House of CREED Let’s see what really defines the house..

Tobacco by Franck Boclet
I am a staunch non-smoker, as my parents made sure that I always felt nauseous on long car journeys due to their cigarette smoke. But... I love the smell of tobacco perfumes. The combination of plum, tobacco, and clove is very interesting here. Not too sweet and not too spicy. Good value for money for a genuine niche fragrance that is not often found offline. With a longevity of 6 hours and a projection of 2-3 meters, the fragrance is easily noticeable.

Mancera Gold Prestigium edp
Fresh, citrusy (bergamot), spicy (pepper) vanillic, floral (rose) opening There is a subtle oudy and leathery nuance that is well blended and not overpowering Mature, modern, elegant Warm, comforting, enveloping type of fragrance Leans a tiny bit feminine for me Good projection and sillage Good for the office and intimate nights out Best for Fall and Winer Powdery, leathery, oudy, creamy, musky, mossy, woody dry down Heavy crystal glass; gold magnetic cap; great atomizer Great longevity Prominent for 2-3 hours and stays long as a skin scent for 3-4 more hours Great overall performance I would recommend Gold Prestigium ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luxurious-Sensual-Refined..
