Rehab will be your best friend here. And what I call prehab (doing stretches, heat and cold contrast etc) prior to it getting inflamed. I love golf balls/ lacrosse balls on a solid wall or floor to really stretch that facia and release tension.
Every Great D-lineman Had A Blueprint
Quick question. Don’t overthink it. Who was your guy? We all had one. A family member. A local legend. Or an NFL monster. For me, it was Von Miller. That first step. That bend. The way he erased the edge. I didn’t just watch him. I tried to rush like him. Every rep. Here’s why this matters. Who you admire usually reveals your style. Power. Speed. Hands. Violence. Finesse. And once we know that… We can build a real plan. Not a generic one. A you plan. 👇 Drop your favorite D-lineman below. 👇 And tell me why. 😤 I’m reading every answer.

Dwight Freeney Best known for his lethal spin moves and consistent second effort. I remember practicing spins in the Forrest behind my house on trees growing up. He was also a master of the ghost dip n rip move making tackles look silly with his amazing bend and low pad level. With those two speed moves Dwight knew his counter and that was POWER! Keeping Oline flat on there feet having to respect a great inside spin, outside speed move when he got under the chin of that tackle the shock alone won him the rep getting great press towards the QB. He was a menace for years and I loved watching his energy and consistent hustle even when the play went away from him.
