Growth In Action - Jan. 27
Oh my goodness! I had a lightbulb moment in this class. Thanks, my beautiful friends for a VERY enlightening class. I eliminate the unnecessary mental exercise of WORRYING. Worrying has never improved anything in my life, but, it has certainly made my life more complicated.

Hello to our amazing women 💛 If you’re new here, each Friday we share one simple Tiny Step, something gentle, doable, and realistic, even on full days. These are small actions meant to create a little more peace and clarity right where you are. This week’s Tiny Step is a grounding practice designed to bring a sense of calm into your body in under a minute. It’s called 5-Sense Grounding. Whenever you remember today or this weekend, pause for a moment and gently name: 1 thing you can see 1 thing you can hear 1 thing you can feel 1 thing you can smell Then take 1 slow, intentional breath That’s it. Just coming back into the moment. I hope this brings you a small pocket of peace wherever you are today. 😊

@Jessica Borum Thank you. He was a good boy. I still have three dogs but he's my last kitty I'm ever going to have because I'm getting up there in age.

@Cristina Tudor Thank you. I'm really excited to meet them. I'm so much like them which is awesome because I'm kind of nothing like the family that I grew up with.

Hello Friends, It's already Friday, I hope you all had a great week and looking forward to the weekend. This week's Tiny Step is about giving a small act of kindness to your self or to someone you care about. Ideas Do one tiny thing to make tomorrow easier, lay out clothes, get coffee prepared... Write a short note of gratitude and love for yourself or your loved one... Mine was making Joel his favorite treat this afternoon. Homemade baked brownies ☺️ I can’t wait to see how you chose to show kindness this week.

Those look delicious. I'm sure Joel was so happy for that loving gift.
I'm so excited, I was featured on WSJ this week 🤗
I was recently featured in a Wall Street Journal article about minimalism and how people are rethinking their relationship with “stuff”, all centered around creating more calm, clarity, and freedom. Being part of this conversation made me reflect not just on my own journey, but on what so many of you are living, too. I’d t love to hear your thoughts on this topic When you look at your life right now, where do you feel the most cluttered, physically, mentally, emotionally, or in your schedule? When you hear words like minimalism or simplicity, what do they honestly bring up for you at this stage of life? I always learn so much from your experiences, and I’d love to hear from you. 💛 Article https://www.wsj.com/style/fashion/these-people-went-from-hoarders-to-extreme-minimalists-heres-how-29883b66?mod=style_lead_story

Congratulations Connie! I am so happy for you. In the online World of minimalism, I feel as though you bring a gentle and encouraging voice to the people who may need it most. It's not easy to let go, but you gently guide people through it, when for some, it could be a very difficult season in their lives.I am pragmatic about the decluttering subject. I have numerous health challenges over the past six years and realize that death could be as quick as the snap of a finger for some of us ( I just had a second mini stroke this past Friday). No one is going to live forever, and do we want to burden our families with our copious amounts of stuff? I know that I don't, and so I have given away many of my precious things to people who I would want to have them. When I feel even better, I plan on decluttering even more and relishing in experiences:even if it is something like meeting a friend for tea. We come into this world with nothing, and that is how we will leave. Giving up attachment to everything now, will help us on our journey. Hugs and love to everyone.

Hello friends, I hope all of you have a great Friday. If you’re new here, Fridays are our Tiny Step days, one small, simple practice that can create a noticeable shift toward more peace, calm, or inner guidance. This week’s Tiny Step is a 2–3 minute experiment designed to bring a little more clarity, calm, or breathing room into your day. Head to the Classroom at the top and go inside the free course The Path to Mindful Living. Go to Unit 2 and click on the Unit 2 - Guide 1 in the resources section and choose the one exercise that resonates with you most today. Try just one. Stop when you feel a shift. If you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear which exercise you chose and what you noticed after trying it. You’re welcome to post here or message me privately, sometimes naming the shift is part of the shift itself. ✨
