The Bad & Ugly of a $174,000 Auction
HUGE THANK YOU to @Nick Roberts and @Marcus Karl for this candid interview. They did NOT sugar coat or gloss over the Bad or the Ugly of this auction. Spoiler alert: Everyone still had fun and $174,000 in sales with $50,000 cash collected. This started on a Facebook profile! There are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of creators and influencers with 5,000 or less followers on their FB profiles, Insta, YT channels, Email lists, X, Pinterest and SKOOL COMMUNITIES that could... Use the same EXACT method that Nick and Marcus did. And it doesn't have to be perfect. Why? Because the auction format is SO FORGIVING! Let's make this a LEARNING thread and ASK any questions you may have! Rooting For Ya, Travis PS At the end... I gave them a tip to bring in another $100k. In ONE WORD. Then I showed them how to cash flow this for $1 million. PPS If you got anything out of this interview and breakdown, please drop some appreciation for Markus and Nick. They really gave this their all and went into detail!

For those that need visuals like me to follow along... Not sure if this is 100%, but def how I understood it. Wasn't sure how clear the more detailed one was, but still found it useful.

On page 90 of Travis's new book... It's an entire business model play. Glorious

Simple little wisdomonious blurbs that are profound after a little reflection. Easy to read. Hard to forget. Fully Loaded with compact insights. Knock, knock [Carlos opens door with open wide arms]. It's sooooo f*kin' good. Thanks Travis.
Have more FUN 🤩 - Make more money
IMO: We’re in a fun depression more than a trust depression. One of the reasons auctions are driving 100s of leads and converting at 50%+ so quickly is because they’re FUN AF! Boredom is killing more sales than lack of trust. Boredom also murders our motivation to make offers. I’ve YET to see a person’s financial not brighten by having MORE fun making fun offers in a fun way! Have more fun! Make more money honey! What are you doing for FUN? How can you put that into your offers? Example: @Debbie Summerhayes is taking her fun and love of animals (she has 19 horses) to provide help in her community for folks with autism and ADHD Put your FUN ideas 👇 Rooting for Ya, Travis

@Katie Colormaiden I feel you on this. I hate competing for stuff I want. Always looking for am alternative if I can find it. Like if I go to an open house, as soon as I see tons of folks there I'm like "nope... I'm out." But, on another note, I understand how valuable it can be to be the prize or frame what you have as the prize that others bid on. That being said, I LOVE how T frames or bakes in the fun, "everyone's a winner who bids" vibe.

@Marcus Karl LMFAO!
Why Tina CRUSHES and Tim LOSES
Tim does not know the difference between DELIVARABLES AND THE OFFER. He can't get leads. He can't make sales. TINA... Can come up with an OFFER IDEA on her first cup of coffee... And COLLECT $10K before dinner. She KNOWS the DIFFERENCE between the DELIVERABLES and the OFFER! Tim HATES selling and finds it's stressful and no fun. Tina LOVES selling and finds it soooo fun to help others. My question to YOU, my friend. 👉What is the DIFFERENCE between DELIVERABLES and THE OFFER?👈 👇👇👇 Rooting For Ya, Travis

Offer = Desired final outcome they want. Deliverables = The means, tools or thing they get to help them get there. Examples: Offer: Trip to Maui Deliverables: First class flight, cruise or private jet Offer: Your custom dream house built in 3 months Deliverables: Me, my duct tape crew of beer loaded builders, some used heavy machinery, tools & porto potties stationed at your house for a while until complete. Offer: More sales from your unconverted list within 10 days or you don't pay Deliverables: an auction and follow up touches via dm, email, snail mail (maybe phone, too)
