Starting GLP1
Hi everyone ❤️ Where can I get more info on how to get started with GLP1? I appreciate any advice

My personal experience after two years on Ozempic: I lost 45 lbs in the first year at 0.5 mg. When the weight loss stalled, I moved up to 1 mg and lost another 10 lbs. I then increased to the maximum dose of 2 mg, and nothing changed. The takeaway is that more is not always better. The goal is to find your sweet spot and stay there until it stops working. Everyone’s body is in a different metabolic state, and that makes a huge difference. In my case, being prediabetic meant that 0.5 mg was enough to restart my metabolic response, while higher doses didn’t add any benefit.

@Anita DiNapoli Thank you. Luckily no side effects for me.
Switching glp2-glp3 advice
My cousin and I were looking into R-GLP3. We're currently involved with T-GLP2. Anyone who's been here, can you please give as much detail as possible? Because when you switch do you start back at the bottom? Up by 2.5 and such? I heard it helps tremendously with inflammation. Experiences with research you've done on it?

I was on Ozempic at the 2 mg max dose for 2 years lost 55 lbs, and switched to GLP 3 two weeks ago, starting at 2 mg. So far, I haven’t noticed much other than breaking a one year plateau where I had been stuck. It’s only about three pounds, but the barrier is finally broken. I’m hoping to keep losing the last 25 pounds. I plan to increase slowly every 4 weeks to 6 or possibly 8 mg, depending on how things go.

@Diane Hinkle So sorry to hear that. How much did you take if you don’t mind sharing? I’ve read that .25 mgs is the starting dose.
Lypholized vs Not Lypholized Weight
People always ask me why vials stay the same size regardless of the amount of API. I took the time at the office to measure out some fake sugar to compare to a 5mg Lypholized vial's contents on the left. The Lypholized vial is mostly made up of lyoprotectants to keep the API safe until reconstitution for research. What do you think?

Wow, the actual peptide amount is tiny. That’s why dosing increments have to be precise, small dosing errors turn into big percentage errors.
