Such a pleasure to hang with Filipe in Portugal
The highlight of my recent trip to Portugal was spending time with Physiology First team member @Filipe Cymbron and his soon to be wife Susana. My goal for the certification program was always to build a community that supports one another in person to build physical infrastructure in communities across the world🌎🧠🔥 Grateful for this team of leaders that are willing to get on a plane, connect face to face, and build the health and education infrastructure of the future, together. Inspiring to discuss plans to bring Physiology First to the Azores Islands in the near future!

How fantastic!!!
I was talking with the mother of one of our students today…
She told me that her 14 year old daughter, who attends our free Student Strong at our UK campus every week, is struggling to fit in with her friends. She said “This is the one place that she feels she fits. It’s become a very special place for her. She’s buzzing every time she comes home.” Here’s to growing this movement together, and creating more spaces where kids feel at home, and where working on our health in community with one another is normalized. And let’s help a generation come home buzzing with energy⚡️

Love this so much. The only place I ever fitted in as a child were sports clubs and places I could exercise- places where I could move through all the emotions by doing physical stuff!
HRV tech
Am on it with questions today, right I’ve been thinking about getting a heartmath inner balance coherence plus usb and bluetooth sensor especially as they’re on special now.. 😉 What are your thoughts? I think it’d be a great bit of tech for teenagers to ‘see’ how their breathing affects their coherence which makes it easier for them to change their habits

I have had the app and sensor for years now and lots of my clients love it - if they love tech! Some is my younger clients get it but then don’t use it. But generally it’s great to see the evidence right in front of you!
Module 2 is Live! Breathing, Barefoot Training, and Body Awareness
Team, I hope everyone is having an inspired weekend! We just had an incredible morning at the campus. It was filled with vibrant energy from our growing community at the UK location. Highlight: A ten year old boy said it was the best morning he can remember. Module 2 is now available in the Certification Level One classroom. It as an experiential module with plenty of exercises that you can practice. We’ll have a practical application element to this week’s Deep Dive as well. It has been truly heartwarming to hear everyone’s introductions and to be in collaboration with such a passionate group of leaders. Hope everyone enjoys the next module, and looking forward to discussing in the Module 2 thread as well as in person on Thursday! P.S- It’s been such an honor to have Physiology First Team Leader @Gerald Amerstorfer visiting us at the UK campus this weekend. You’ll get to meet him as well as hear from Coach Harry again in the welcome video as well! https://vimeo.com/1023531073

Hey - great to see you Harry!!!!
Foundations: Building a New Model for Health Education
Team, I’m really looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow at 3pm EST for our Deep Dive! In this video I just want to highlight how the Foundations Module can evolve into a full year of consulting, collaboration, and continuing education. These short modules can be explored in depth and scaffolded out to create an in-depth, integrative approach to health education for educational facilities, organizations, and communities. A few ideas… Hold community workshops on each topic and add your own knowledge and skills to the event. Partner with organizations or educational facilities and offer a workshop on each module, emphasizing 3 key points. Hold a year long professional development program focused on these topics. Add supplemental materials ( Breathe to Perform (my short book) Why We Sleep by Mathew Walker, Spark by John Ratey, Brain Energy by Dr. Christopher Palmer, and Dopamine Nation by Anne Lembke make excellent recommended supplementary reading) and work to integrate the fundamental knowledge of operating our physiology with agency into the educational process. See you all tomorrow at our Deep Dive and looking forward! https://vimeo.com/1022641117
