3 contributions to Trillion Dollar Client Govcon
🚨 What if your most reliable client was the U.S. Government?
Every year, billions of dollars are legally set aside for small businesses and not just for the usual suspects. We're talking cleaning services, virtual assistants, notaries, logistics experts, graphic designers, consultants, and more. No matter where you're starting from side hustle, small team, or solo pro, there's a path to build a business that doesn’t flinch during a recession. The kind that pays on time, renews contracts, and doesn’t ghost you. 😅 Here’s what I’m curious to know from YOU: 🧠 Have you ever looked into doing business with the government? Why or why not? 🛠️ Which of these strategies sounds like your lane, small, no-bid contracts… or big, recurring deals? 🤝 Would you be open to being the connector (aka "middleman") instead of delivering the work? 📊 What’s one thing that’s stopped you from going after government contracts so far? Let’s spark a convo — drop your thoughts below! 👇

As a notary and a mobile detail service owner, I have considered working with the government. I am curious on the middle man approach as well as providing services.

@David Gulledge it’s a lot of information out there and it can definitely be a little overwhelming
🚨 Trying to Work with the Federal Government?
Here’s something many small businesses don’t realize: Before you can bid, get paid, or receive any federal funding you have to be officially registered. That happens through SAM.gov, the government’s system for verifying your business. It’s how you get your UEI, CAGE code, and access to federal opportunities. 💬 Be honest — have you tried registering yet? 👉 Did you get stuck on something? 👉 Or are you unsure what the first step even is? Whether you’ve started and hit a wall, or haven’t started at all you're not alone. Let’s talk about it 👇 What’s been the most confusing part of getting registered with the government?

I have not even tried to get registered yet. I’m definitely getting a lot of information in what and where to do things
Intro
Hello all! I’m new to the government contracting space. In Missouri, currently working as a Data Analyst. I look forward to getting guidance and building a way out of my 9-5 to spend more time with my family while teaching them what I’ve learned!
