Introduction
Hello from Seattle, WA. If I'm really being honest can't say I truly WANT to learn AI however I know I need to. I already use it at work for many things, and I'd like to be even more proficient. I am most looking forward to continuing to learn how to use it to do things that bog me down that I'm not good at and don't like to do. For years I have felt information overload - too many emails to read, too much data coming at me all the time! I look forward to using AI to hopefully help me tame the information overload and curate what is coming at me, hopefully even allow me to engage only with what I truly want/need to engage with and never even digest the rest of the mess. My ultimate end goal for learning AI is so that I can spend WAY LESS time in front of a screen, and more time in nature and with real humans. As always, thank you Tony and Dean for creating this space at such a pivotal time for humanity!
How Do You View Obstacles?
The way you view obstacles will shape the way you experience life. If you see them as proof the path is wrong, you’ll stop. If you see them as unfair, you’ll resent them. If you see them as permanent, you’ll feel stuck. But if you see them as part of growth, everything changes. Because obstacles often show up for a reason. They reveal where you need to get stronger. They expose what needs to change. They build the capacity required for the next level of your life or business. So, I’ve learned to see obstacles as opportunity. Opportunity to overcome. Opportunity to learn. Opportunity to grow. Opportunity to increase my capacity. That doesn’t mean challenges are fun haha. But it does means they can be useful. The obstacle in front of you may not be there to block you. It’s likely there to develop you. To push you. To invite you into a whole new level. Because when you do overcome it, you don’t just get past the challenge. You gain the lesson you needed, the growth you needed, and the strength you needed to become the person who can hold the thing you’ve been asking for. Sometimes the obstacle isn’t separate from the path. Sometimes it is the path. So I’ll ask you… how do you view obstacles right now?

I typically view obstacles as something to learn more about and conquer - a way to improve something. However, when tasks pile up and I start to find it difficult to prioritize all that's on my plate, I am sometimes guilty of viewing obstacles as problems that stress me out. And when things get really bad, I sometimes shut down completely and allow myself to get into overwhelm. Thankfully, this doesn't happen often and I've been listening to Tony for so long now that I can usually get myself back into action fairly quickly. I want to learn AI so it can do the things that bog me down and maybe have more time to do the things that I really love and am good at - where my gifts can really shine!
