What's your commitment?
Let's goo! Glad to be a founding member of this group. Many great things to come. If you are just getting home from the Massachusetts Mastermind, what's your commitment to execution? Post it here, in one simple measure-able statement.

@Luke Devins if you need help recruiting one and getting them trained effectively, hit up Melody Edwards. Well worth the investment to get your VA off to a fast start

@Kyle Carter woohoo!
Ai is changing the speed of training
Here’s a sneak peek 👀 at how we’re updating training modules to be web based interactive modules that tie into our core process playbooks. Changes made in playbooks? Changes made in training… No more outdated SOP’s by the time they are completed! Anybody else have horror stories of outdated training for new hires?

Love it. This is low hanging fruit for just about anyone who owns a small business. All of our documentation lives inside a Gemini Gem project that everyone has access to. The entire team can go there to get answers on all kinds of things.
Leaders are readers. What should we read together?
I believe who we become is shaped by the ideas we take in. That makes what we read worth being intentional about. For me, leadership development isn’t just learning how to run a better business. It’s becoming someone people can trust. Someone who handles hard conversations with humility, follows through, and does the right thing when it costs something. Books can challenge how we think. But the goal isn’t to finish more books. It’s to let what we learn change how we lead. Some of my favorite authors are Patrick Lencioni, Gino Wickman, Tim Keller, James Clear, Michael Lewis, Angela Duckworth, and Malcolm Gladwell. Different perspectives, but plenty to explore about character, habits, people, and judgment. That’s the direction I’d love for our Lion’s Den book studies: honest conversations about meaningful ideas and how we put them into practice. What’s one book that changed how you lead or the kind of person you want to become? Drop the title and author below, along with why you’d recommend it. Like the suggestions you’d want to read together, and we can use those to build a shortlist for a community vote.

@Colby Faisst a great one for sales and just controlling conversations in general is Exactly What To Say by Phil M. Jones. Short, actionable chapters. Tons of simple strategies you can use to wield influence. And nice examples of those strategies in action
