What is your favourite type of climb?
Overhang, slab, dynos what do you like the most? Personally I like variety and a nice long route (if on rope) with balance focused movement and some try hard moves on a roof. I also love climbing on aretes!! What about y’all?

Big moves, small crimps. I like just about anything that will capture my full attention, but what does that the most are slabs, I love slab and vert. Technical climbs are so fun and anything with a wild cross will be repeated a lot.

@Ryan Hegarty My point exactly! Overhang climbers are missing out, honestly
What shoes does everyone rock!?
These were my main shoes last year, but I used to wear Vapor’s for the first 5 or so years indoor and outdoor! Left to right TC pros (for crack climbing) 5.10 mocsassains (slip on warm up/ chill shoes) Skwamas (my try hard shoe) I’ve been using unparalleled Quincy’s for the last 5 or so months and really liking them too. Curious what everyone else is wearing??

Coaching.
I have been doing independent climbing coaching for the past two years now and I have loved it so much but didn't like the inability to keep it stable, I would coach a person but our schedules wouldn't sync up for a while; it became tedious. I wanted to keep coaching, doing it more, doing it where I could regularly teach people. I now have a job coaching Ninja Warrior, I had my first day today and found that it's really similar to climbing and I am confident in saying that I would like to keep coaching there for a while. I still want to coach what I love most, which is climbing, but this is a good replacement. Comment if you would like a coach!

What does it take?
I recently had an interesting conversation with somebody about motivation (whether it's something one should build) and it really got me thinking about motivation and the space around it. Before I ask questions, I'm going to share my personal experience. I have an okay relationship with motivation, I like it because it makes the doing easier and I can do things without it, but I realized that the first thing I do before the task at hand is search for motivation. What does this really mean? I think that, even though I can succeed without it, I use motivation as a crutch, I don't keep my mind on the task until I do it (this is fine, but what my mind is on isn't) but rather on what my reason for doing it is, I don't think about why it has to be done; I think about what positives are there that make me want to do it. I think my motivations are mostly reliant on people. Not only do I crave to be seen in a good light like most people, I also want to see those around me flourish. With this in mind, most of the time I look for an interpersonal motivation before I try to set out to a task. What is your relationship with motivation? What motivates you? How do you fare without motivation?
Maintaining Psych During Injuries
So I was climbing a 13a on the weekend and Bamm! My should popped out, I took a fall, and it popped back in. How do you maintain psych when injured? Hopefully after some rest, rehab and physio I can get back to my level of fitness. In the meantime, got any recommendations for staying fit?

My favorite has to be biking, I'm a long distance cyclist on the side of climbing. When I had my last injury, I was hitting 20 miles (32 kilometers) in a day. Good for the heart and good for endurance, add regular calisthenics on top and you'll stay in perfect shape.
