Anger vs Frustration
Understanding your emotional signals supports clearer communication, steadier decisions, and healthier interactions. In many workdays, we experience moments where emotions take the lead: • Frustration building when progress slows • Pressure rising during busy or uncertain periods • Heat and intensity showing up during important conversations • Energy shifting when boundaries feel stretched Research in emotional awareness shows that emotions follow recognizable patterns in the body. Noticing those patterns helps you understand what you need in the moment. Here’s a simple breakdown of two often-confused emotions across two areas: Body Sensation (what you feel) and Action Urge (what you want to do) Key insights: šŸ”¹ Frustration creates tightness and a sense of being held back — often pointing to a need for clarity, support, or a different approach. šŸ”¹ Anger creates heat and quick energy — often signaling a value, boundary, or priority that feels important. šŸ”¹ When you recognize these signals, you create space for thoughtful choices. The takeaway: Emotional clarity supports stronger relationships and more grounded leadership. I’d love to hear your thoughts: šŸ‘‰ Which signals show up most clearly for you? šŸ‘‰ How do you recognize what you’re feeling during a busy day?

@Luis Castro the more i self develop the more i am aware and try to do better. Better habits, better lifestyle, better friends ect. It all trickles down to who we are trying to be. You know the phrase ā€œ know better, do better.ā€ I live by that
The Power of Empathy
Empathy supports deeper connection, clearer communication, and more collaborative teamwork. Every person carries an inner world filled with experiences, thoughts, and emotions that shape how they show up. Throughout the day, we encounter situations where empathy makes a difference: • A colleague responding sharply during a stressful moment • A team member staying quiet in a meeting • A friend seeming distracted or distant • A client being more emotional than expected Research in interpersonal awareness shows that most of someone’s inner experience stays unseen. Paying attention to subtle cues helps you understand the fuller picture behind their behavior. Here’s a simple way to think about it across two areas: What You See (the small visible part) and Inner World (the larger story beneath it) Key insights: šŸ”¹ People often carry responsibilities, pressure, and emotions that stay unspoken. šŸ”¹ Small shifts in tone, expression, or energy can reflect a deeper experience. šŸ”¹ Approaching others with curiosity and patience creates space for trust and understanding. The takeaway: Empathy helps you connect with the person, not just the moment you’re witnessing. I’d love to hear your thoughts: šŸ‘‰ What helps you practice empathy during busy days? šŸ‘‰ Which subtle signals help you understand others better?

I’m a true empath. Throughout the years I’ve been able to fine tune my skills to transmute it into positivity. For most people I’d say they don’t absorb others peoples energy, they just let it affect their mood.

Emotional Regulation Ladder
Emotional regulation becomes easier when we follow a clear path back to calm. I created this ā€œEmotional Regulation Ladderā€ to show how every step supports the next. As emotions rise, we can move upward with simple, effective tools: šŸ”ø Triggered → 4-7-8 breathing Intentional breathing creates steadiness and signals safety. šŸ”ø Anxious → Name the emotion Labeling brings clarity and increases prefrontal awareness. šŸ”ø Angry → Take a short break A brief pause creates space for grounded decision-making. šŸ”ø Overwhelmed → Break tasks down One micro-step restores direction and momentum. šŸ”ø Regulated → Practice mindfulness Gratitude, grounding, or a body scan strengthens emotional stability. Every step builds emotional intelligence, confidence, and self-leadership. When we support our inner world, our outer world benefits too.

@Luis Castro I don’t get anxious that much tbh. However I perform crystal therapy on all my clients along with try different oressure points. Not sure if you’ve heard of tapping therapy? It’s amazing for resetting the nervous system due to trauma ect. I also do homework with all my clients that include mirror work, self care including self touch and journaling.
