Local SEO Tip For Review Collections
Google is always changing, and we are going down the AI path whether you like it or not. Now Google has added a button called "Ask Maps" its literally changing the way people are looking for a local business. Based on matchable attributes. Now, its not rolled out in Australia yet, expansion is coming, it is rolled out in USA and India currently, but this doesn't mean you cant start positioning yourself or your clients now if your not in the active rolled out countries. Example, someone may ask, “My lights keep flickering, I need an electrician to come on Saturday". Reviews that say: “our lights kept flickering before we called…” matches this perfectly. "was able to come on short notice on a Saturday" matches this perfectly. Businesses with the right reviews, profile and site setup will be ahead of these who are not. An other example would be, someone is taking a trip along the Great Ocean Road, they may enter: "I'm taking a trip along the Great Ocean Road, do you recommend any stops along the way for lunch?" If you are managing a restaurant business, you want them to appear as this suggestion. Reviews that say: "We were on a road trip down the Great Ocean Road and needed somewhere decent to eat..." matches this perfectly. "We were driving along the Great Ocean Road and looking for a good spot to stop for lunch..." matches this perfectly. Its reading everything on your clients site, the google reviews and the business profile, then it tells the user which business to choose and why. So its more important now then ever to ensure you have "everything" you do and who for setup right, this includes "how" reviews are written and what information you or client needs for the review to hold its SEO weight, so asking the right way is important. I have now setup my own review page in order to follow this method exactly. See my example attached. I have changed my review ask, instead of "leave us a review", which people may say "had a good experience" this type of review, even with 5 stars is not "matchable attributes". Now my angle naturally pulls out story-based reviews, which are far more powerful for SEO and conversions than generic praise.. This method can be used across every industry. Of course, I will be rolling this out for my clients in the coming weeks.

@John Romaine Who knows what Google is doing, they never tell you why or what. They just do. Google "Ask Maps" (Is a Conversational Search) and google is using the AI to match attributes. This dude explains it super well. Watch this.
What Am I Missing?
I've just been looking at this SEOs website: https://seoperth.expert/ And I found access to this GoogleMap: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mqPGg-LhUgAu5sZIPj3pz32akWS9DuOVejIt7yc0AV8/edit?gid=0#gid=0 And I'm wondering... why? What is the benefit to all of this hard work? I'm not feeling well so my brain is running slow, so be kind if its obvious...

There WILL be a call this week!
Hey guys so Im finally starting to get settled in my new place and wanted to let everyone know that there WILL be a call this week. Ive had to improvise somewhat (due to no Wifi signal upstairs) but its working for now so the call will proceed!

omg what a nightmare lol. Owners should have homes setup for the internet these days. In my opinion.
Changes to the weekly group calls
Hey everyone, I need to make a few changes to the weekly group calls. Firstly, I will no longer be hosting two calls a week. Instead, only the one call. Reason for this change covered below.... Attendance for Wednesdays call at 10AM AEST each week has been good, which is great — and why I've decided to continue hosting the calls on that day. However, attendance rates for Fridays calls have been poor for at least the past 2 years. In many cases I've had only two or three people attend. Be mindful that I'm hosting these calls at close to midnight my time - which I wouldn't mind so much if attendance rates were better. Secondly, I will no longer be recording the calls. Why? When we moved from the old platform to Skool, I reviewed watch times and around 98% of the call recordings had little to no views. Thats not great. I also believe having replays available reduces live attendance — so there wont be any further recordings. Lastly, calls from here on will be capped at 60 minutes maximum. Some of the calls last year went for more than 2 hours, which I feel is way too long. The purpose of these calls is live interaction, clarity and momentum. They need to be focused, intentional and helpful in a way that provides value for everyone. So - having said that, there will be one call per week. It will be held Wednesdays at 8AM AEST. Calls will not be recorded. The 8AM AEST time slot should accommodate the vast majority of members across different regions. I understand not everyone will love the change. I’ve spent the past four years doing my best to accommodate everyone across different locations and time zones. But it doesn’t make sense to continue running two calls per week with such low attendance. If you want direct access, feedback and live discussion — Wednesday 8AM AEST is the time. Appreciate your understanding. PS - I want to say a very big thank you for those of you who show up week in week out - it means a lot!

Sounds reasonable and completely makes sense. Also, your up late 😄 or early 😜
Thanks for todays call - quick roundup
Thanks to everyone who jumped on today’s group call — really appreciate you taking the time to show up and get involved. We covered a lot of important ground, including instant forms vs full sales funnels, how to structure ad campaigns around scheduled conversion events rather than just leads, and why prioritising niche-specific case studies is such a leverage point. We also spent time talking about charging based on the exchange of value, not just the activities being performed, and why reducing time to value in client projects is critical for better results, retention, and long-term relationships. The quality of the questions and discussion today was solid, and it’s good to see people thinking beyond tactics and focusing on outcomes. And lastly, we once again confirmed that @Allen Wagner is, in fact, a vampire and never sleeps 🧛‍♂️ Appreciate you all — keep applying what we covered and feel free to continue the discussion in the group.

@John Romaine For some reason I thought it was a 7am coffee chat like what used to be on. I don't know, my head wasn't in the game clearly! 🙃
