I got home from the theater and started painting and forgot to remove my watch.

Beautiful watch and love the dial.

Testing potential officers today. Got soaked loading up for PT course. Rain stopped during the runs but opened up and picking up and unloading everything. I could of jumped in a lake and been dryer. The last shot is part of the course under 3 feet of water. Garmin Vivio Active HR for the day. Phone placed in rice when I came home.

When it rains it . . . must be test day. Great choice for the day though. Hope you dry out Sunday.
RGM/Teddy Day #4 - How it wears
A few people have asked how the watch actually wears, now that I’ve had some time with it. Honestly, this may be my favorite surprise. On paper, a 39mm dress watch sounds fairly conventional, but on the wrist it has a real presence without ever feeling oversized. The weight is just about perfect—substantial enough that you know you’re wearing a well-made mechanical watch, but light enough that it disappears after a few minutes. It never feels top-heavy or bulky. The case proportions are excellent. The relatively thin mid-case, gently curved lugs, and compact lug-to-lug length let it hug the wrist naturally. It slides under a shirt cuff easily but still has enough visual presence to stand on its own with more casual attire. The Jean Rousseau strap deserves a lot of credit as well. It’s one of the most comfortable factory straps I’ve owned. It’s supple right out of the box, conforms to the wrist quickly, and, most importantly, it doesn’t force the watch to ride up onto my wrist bone like some stiffer alligator straps do. The watch stays centered throughout the day without constantly needing to be adjusted. The balance of the watch is what impresses me most. The combination of the case, the movement, and the strap makes it feel incredibly well sorted. Nothing about it is trying too hard. It simply feels like a watch that was designed to be worn, not just admired. After a few days on the wrist, I can honestly say the wearing experience has exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship drew me to the watch initially, but it’s the comfort and balance that have kept me reaching for it every morning. It’s going to be hard to out this one away. 😢
