Data Analytics Project 23 : Power BI FIFA World Cup Report (1930–2018) ⚽📊
Data Analytics Project 23 : Power BI FIFA World Cup Report (1930–2018) ⚽📊 This interactive dashboard explores nearly nine decades of World Cup history, transforming raw tournament data into meaningful insights around competition growth, team dominance, hosting trends, and global fan engagement. 📈 At the competition level, the report focuses on key KPIs such as Goals Scored, Matches Played, and Qualified Teams by year. These metrics clearly show how the FIFA World Cup has expanded over time, with a steady increase in participation and match intensity as the tournament evolved into a truly global event. 🏆 Team performance and participation metrics highlight football powerhouses across history. Brazil and Germany lead in home goals with 102 each, followed by Mexico with 84 and France with 82. Participation analysis shows Brazil qualifying 20 times, Italy 18 times, and Argentina 16 times. The title distribution further emphasizes dominance, with Brazil winning 5 World Cups, Italy 4, and Germany 3. 🌍 Hosting and attendance insights add a global perspective to the analysis. Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, and Mexico have each hosted the tournament twice, while a geographic attendance heatmap reveals strong fan engagement across Europe, South America, and North America. This project demonstrates my skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data storytelling. https://github.com/Talal-Bin-Zahid/Power-BI-Fifa-Worldcup-Report

Hadith Sharif
A authentic Hadith regarding Tawheed (Oneness of Allah): The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah has forbidden the Fire for the one who says: ‘There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah,’ seeking by that the Face of Allah.”(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 425) Reflection: This Hadith teaches that Tawheed is not merely words, but a declaration rooted in sincerity. Saying La ilaha illallah must be accompanied by a heart that seeks Allah alone—free from showing off, dependence on others, or hidden shirk. True Tawheed shapes intentions, actions, and reliance. When a person sincerely lives by this belief, Allah grants protection, mercy, and ultimate success in the Hereafter. If you’d like, I can share a Hadith Qudsi, a powerful Qur’anic ayah, or a short daily reminder on strengthening Tawḥīd.

“Lower the bar, raise the consistency.”
Lesson from Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg: “Lower the bar, raise the consistency.” One of the most powerful lessons in Tiny Habits is that lasting change doesn’t come from motivation—it comes from making behaviors incredibly easy. Most people fail because they aim too big: long workouts, strict routines, or drastic lifestyle changes. BJ Fogg explains that when a habit feels small and doable, your brain stops resisting it. Instead of committing to reading 30 pages a day, start with one page. Instead of planning a 30-minute workout, begin with two pushups. These tiny actions may seem insignificant, but they build something far more important than intensity: consistency. Another key idea is celebration. Fogg emphasizes that celebrating immediately after completing a tiny habit wires it into your brain. A smile, a small “yes!”, or self-acknowledgment tells your brain, this behavior matters, making it more likely to stick.

Behavior Comes from Emotion, Not Motivation
A unique lesson from Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg, explained simply and practically: Behavior Comes from Emotion, Not Motivation One of the most powerful lessons in Tiny Habits is that you don’t need high motivation to change your life. Instead, lasting habits are built by designing behaviors that feel easy and emotionally rewarding. BJ Fogg explains that motivation is unreliable—it goes up and down. If a habit depends on feeling motivated, it will eventually fail. The real key is to make the habit so small that it requires almost no effort, and then celebrate immediately after doing it. That celebration creates a positive emotion, and emotion is what wires the habit into your brain. For example, instead of aiming to exercise for 30 minutes, start with one push-up. After doing it, smile, say “I did it!”, or feel proud. This tiny emotional win trains your brain to want to repeat the behavior. Over time, these small habits naturally grow. You don’t force growth—it happens organically because success feels good.

Hadith Sharif
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever testifies that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger… Allah will admit him into Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 3435; Sahih Muslim, Hadith 28) Key Lesson from this Hadith: This Hadith highlights that Tawheed is the foundation of Islam. Declaring the oneness of Allah sincerely, without associating any partners with Him, is the greatest belief a person can hold. All acts of worship, obedience, and good deeds are built upon this core principle. It also reminds us that Tawheed is not just a statement of the tongue, but a belief of the heart and a commitment shown through actions—worshipping Allah alone, relying on Him, and seeking help only from Him.
