Well pickleballers. I have be struggling to keep up with you guys during this challenge. My new knee hasn’t been making it any easier for me but I definitely took a few steps back yesterday because it was my wife’s birthday and she wanted to eat at Texas de Brazil. For those of you who didn’t know, it’s an all you can eat Brazilian steak house. They just kept bringing meat to my table. Needless to say I definitely have some work to do this week😂

Our pickleball area just received this notice, all were great people and players we personally know and played with, Glenn and Hayden were my husband and mine first dink extreme opponents when we first started playing 2 years ago. All will be missed.

This fails in comparison to what Nico just did, but we are playing in an MLP-style event this weekend. Although we originally signed up for the DUPR 16 bracket with our combined rating of 15.8, the director has moved us to the DUPR 18 division due to the number of teams. We will be competing against some of the top local players and a younger field. I am looking forward to the challenge and hope we can stay competitive against them!

Getting my shoes ready for tomorrows random draw tournament, trying out new laces plus newer shoes I've worn them once but they didn't work well on a slick concrete court, hopefully will grip better on outdoor style courts. Anyone else wear Head shoes do they hold up.
