Shoutout to Louis, in the middle, between me and my cofounder Tim, whom I met via this Skool community. He drove all the way down from NJ to vend our at very first show back in November. Even though our tables sell out instantly, we always save him a spot, and he’s been at every show since. This show was insane. Videos to come. We had lines hundreds deep and 90 minutes long at the peak. Just shy of 2k attendees passing through a local hotel ballroom. We gave away over 350 packs out of pocket that day to kids, attendees, & people waiting in line. I don’t have a deep message to end with. Just that we’re super grateful. When you work as hard as you can and focus on serving your community, good things can happen.

$103 can be spent better on other product
Is this the new norm for Pokémon card pricing, or are we witnessing a price bubble in the making?
🔹 $89.99 for Obsidian Flames🔹 $66.99 for White Flare🔹 $79.99 for Paradox Rift The market’s heating up, but are collectors paying for value, or just hype? Let’s hear your take—are these prices justified or are we just getting burned? 🔥

This is a case of supply and demand. When TPC release product to maximise supply, the demand remains high but after the supply runs out, the demand remains. Meaning, your LCS and vendors at shows can sticker their price and if the buyer still wants it, it’s at the going rate.
Prismatic reprints - buying opportunities ?
With SPCs & etbs coming out from reprints recently, it might be a good time to get a “discount” on the SPC and ETBs if found at LGS, FB groups, or catch a drop on Best Buy or other retailers at MSRP. I’ve been picking up some ETBs @ $130-$140 and picked up a few from target for msrp. I bought a couple SPC for $270 which is down from the $400 it was at earlier before reprint I believe in prismatic as much as 151. What’s everyone else’s thoughts on this current entry point for prismatic?

Talking from the UK market, Prismatic still comes across as being past that “entry point” and remains high. I moved a lot of prismatic sealed before the reprint to prioritise other things (SW&SH Zard UPC, Fusion Strike BB etc) but I’m feeling the hurt of it now. Still clutching onto my PC ETB since I’ve got one of each ETB from CZ to date

@Zac Burgess I agree with you on this, watching the animated series growing up, Meowth was always there with that high pitched Italian mobster voice 🤣
