Wheelchair Ramp Install/Payment
I own a rental property in Memphis, TN. My tenant recently informed me that she will need to start using a wheelchair and has requested that a ramp be installed for access to and from the house. As the landlord, am I responsible for installing/paying for the ramp, or is this something the tenant would need to handle?

@Garrett Morgan to be a really good landlord and to help that person a lot. What I would do is reach out to a contractor to see if you can get a bid on it for them and then supply them with a bid that way it’s showing that you’re being helpful and you will get less pushback for that. Maybe you could talk to @Nick Gibson and see if he knows anyone that might be able to do it. It’ll show good faith.
