@Jeremiah Bergeron Nice man. How long have you been into working out? And what got you into the bodybuilding vibe in the first place? I know you mentioned doing some cardio too, but are you looking to go the competitive bodybuilding route at some point and step on stage, or do you just enjoy that style of training in general?

Intro - What's Up
Yo what’s up! I’m Brannon β€” B-R-A-N-N-O-N. I’m 31 and live in Southwest Florida. I’m not native to Florida, but I’ve been here about a year now and I absolutely love it. Honestly, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world. It really feels like where I’m supposed to be. Over the past year I’ve made a pretty wild transformation. I’ve lost 84 pounds in the last 11 months. I started working out on April 14th, 2025 when a friend invited me to the gym… and the rest is history. There’s been a lot of progress on the outside, but honestly even more on the inside. My life kind of blew up in the six months leading up to the start of that transformation. From around September 2024 through June 2025 things just kept getting worse until it eventually culminated in someone pulling a gun on me at a Five Guys in front of my kids and my parents. Not exactly a highlight moment. But a lot of growth came from it. A lot of maturity, a lot of perspective, and a lot of changes in how I live my life. And of course it’s still a journey β€” but I’m really proud of the steps I’ve already taken and excited for everything that’s still ahead. Excited to be here, excited to meet all of you, and looking forward to making some kick-ass connections along the way.

@Jorick Sikkes Haha I appreciate that bro. Honestly sometimes I forget too. I FaceTimed a friend the other day and they screenshotted it and sent it to me like β€œbro…” and I had that moment of realizing I don’t always see it because for so long I looked the other way. But the truth is it was actually a less-is-more approach. From April 2025 to December 2025 I lost about 75 pounds and I never once counted a calorie or tracked a macro. I also never cooked a meal during that time. My life was a little chaotic then β€” I didn’t have a stable place for a while, bouncing between hotels, couches, and even sleeping in my truck sometimes β€” so cooking just wasn’t an option anyway. So I simplified everything down to two rules: 1️⃣ I only ate twice a day 2️⃣ No snacking outside of meals And I didn’t heavily restrict my meals either. I just ate real meals and stopped grazing all day. That alone dropped the 75 pounds. Then in January 2026 I started tracking a bit just to dial things in. Since then I’ve gotten way leaner and added some muscle, but interestingly I weigh about the same as I did at the start of January. My whole philosophy is basically minimum effective dose. Reverse engineer from the goal, then ask: what’s the simplest plan that will actually move the needle? If it’s simple β†’ it’s repeatable. If it’s repeatable β†’ it’s sustainable. And sustainability is where long-term results actually come from. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to do the most. You just have to show up consistently for longer than everyone else. πŸ’ͺ
