Are You Serving Others or Seeking To Be Served?
In Mark 10:45, it says, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” In a world where greatness is often defined by power and status, Jesus redefines true greatness through humble service. He is the King of kings, yet He chose the path of a servant. His entire ministry was marked by compassion, selflessness, and sacrificial love. When Jesus washed His disciples’ feet, He wasn’t just performing a kind act. He was setting an example and showing us that leadership in God’s Kingdom is not about being first, but about putting others first. Ultimately, Jesus’ greatest act of service was giving His life on the cross. In giving Himself as a ransom, Jesus paid the price for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God. As followers of Christ, we are called to walk in His footsteps. We aren’t suppose to seek to be served, but to serve. Let’s being to serve others more this week. Whether in our homes, churches, or communities, we reflect Jesus most clearly when we love sacrificially. I’m Praying For You!
How To See God Move In Your Life
Sometimes, we grow distant from God. It may feel like you’re a million miles away from God, and your prayers aren’t being answered. Maybe sin has entered your life and caused your relationship with God to grow stale. If you’re in this situation, I want to tell you to KEEP GOING. KEEP PURSUING CHRIST. Forget everything that has happened up until now. Repent. Cry out to Jesus and ask for the restoration you may be in need of. God is faithful to grant your request today. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:6 & 7 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. There is hope for you today in Christ regardless of the situation. Regardless of the mistakes. Regardless of how you feel or what you are currently going through. Im praying for you and your strength in the Lord. Check out some of the videos under the classroom tab and feel free to shoot me a message here on Skool to simply talk and chat more. I’m here and I want to help you any way I can in your walk with the Lord. We are a community and a family. Be blessed!
Reflecting on the Disciples’ Calling
The twelve disciples were ordinary men—fishermen, a tax collector, a zealot—called by an extraordinary Savior. Jesus didn’t choose the most learned or the most pious; He chose those willing to follow, to learn, and to be transformed. “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide…” — John 15:16 (ESV) This reminds us that Jesus’ call is not based on merit, but on His purpose. He called them not only to be with Him but also to be sent out—to preach, to heal, and to bear witness. A Lesson from the Disciples: Obedience Over Understanding When Jesus called Simon Peter and Andrew, they didn’t ask for the full itinerary. They responded immediately.“Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.” — Matthew 4:22 (ESV) Faith often begins with obedience before understanding. I’m Praying For You!
