Each weekend, I go through the week and make sure my calendar 📅 is blocked out to prioritize family events, meetings and the most important work that needs to get done this week. I also send a text to an accountability partner 🤝 with three (no more) bullet points on three specific things that are top priority for me to get done this week in order to move the business forward "best." ❓ What do you do to make sure you stay consistent and focus on priorities? Here are my 3️⃣ for this week, so you can see we are all in different places working on different things to move one step forward from where we are standing today. 1. Stop work by 8 PM (seems odd to focus on stopping, but ...) 2. Finish 506(b) fund edits w attorney and get it live again with updated pitch deck 3. Raise $500k more for the revolving capital pool, even if only temporary use at first My prayers for all of your success as well this week. 🙏

Hey everyone, glad to be here 👋 I’m Tim, based in San Diego. I run a general contracting business and actively invest in real estate, primarily value add multifamily and heavy remodel projects. Over the last few years I’ve lived on the execution side, managing renovations, budgets, timelines, and risk, which naturally pushed me deeper into the capital side of deals. Lately I’ve been preparing to scale into transactional lending as a way to deploy capital efficiently while staying close to real deals and real operators. What I’m most interested in learning here: • How experienced lenders structure risk protection • What separates smooth closings from problem files • How you vet borrowers beyond just numbers If you’re already lending, I’d love to hear what surprised you most when you started. If you’re newer like me, what part of the process are you focused on mastering first? Looking forward to connecting, contributing, and most importantly doing some deals together.
