How ill is to ill?
Currently have that internal struggle of iv got a soar throat and a cold but am in well enough to train. Do I push through and potentially not recover quickly or rest miss a few sessions and get back to full strength quicker. It come down to do I listen to my wife who is looking out for my health or my inner chimp that's scared of loosing fitness.

Thanks for the recommendation and looks like it's a few quiet days to hopefully feel better. It's also never nice telling my wife she was right.
New Ineos kit
What do you think of the new Ineos kit? White shorts is a brave move 🫣

White short will never stay white for long. Do each rider get 365 pairs of shorts for the year?
Uses of electrolytes
As a very salty sweater, I tend to ensure I always have electrolytes when on the bike and after to try and replace what iv lost. Questions is should I be have electrolyte drinks through the day or would this be a waste and good old H2O is fine.
Bike Fit Questions
Hey, I've just confirmed a collab with Phil Burt (Ineos & GB Cycling Bike Fitter) to record a bike fitting course especially for us. We're going to start recording this just after Christmas. What questions do you have about setting up your bike? It can be anything from saddle sore prevention (can especially bad for the girls) to comfort or aero. I know for me I get slightly numb hands on longer rides, excited to explore a solution for this. Your questions will help me design the curriculum for this course.

Saddle choose seems to be a lot of trial and error to get one that works for each person. Are there any rules of thumb to narrow down saddle types as a starting point? On saddles be good to get a expert opinion on the increase of custom 3d printed saddles (good or fad?)
Training times
Interested in peoples thoughts on training times. When I was younger I'd always train in the morning but now work and other commitments mean I end up training in the evening. How do people get training done in the morning without waking up at 4am?

I am always more productive in the mornings, so would prefer mornings but with work that just can't happen anymore. Is there any evidence of benefits for training at the time of your chosen events? i.e. if your main race starts at 7pm you could perform better if you'd trained at 7pm
