$10,000 from Sunday Sessions: How I turned 1.8M Viral Views into a sold-out IRL Program
Yo Ethan, Andy, and the IRL family! Iโ€™ve spent the last 12 months proving that 'In-Person' is the highest form of engagement for a community-driven business. I recently took a massive leap into the live event space with my brand, Beyond the Net. While my Skool group was down, I focused purely on the 'IRL' side of the game (mainly because handling both was hard for me l๐Ÿ˜†) Q1 Receipts: - $10,000 in revenue generated purely from our in-person Sunday Sessions - 1.8 Million views online in February 2026 proving that viral digital content is only useful if it puts bodies in a room - $4k personally generated for in person coaching for myself last year Iโ€™m stepping back into the online space to manage the backend personally now. Iโ€™ve realized that the 'Manual Grind' of events only works if you have the digital plumbing to support it. Between all the information here to learn on Skool and in person events I've consolidated my 2026 Content OS and the Mastermind Transcripts from all my experience on Skool the last three years. If you're looking to monetize your next retreat, workshop, or local event without breaking the bank, feel free to ask questions. I'm not as knowledgeable as Ethan or Andy but, I'd love to share the systems I used to bridge that $10k digital-to-physical gap. Q1 is flying.

@Ethan Simons You already know it, Ethan! Iโ€™d love to hop on a call and break down how I translated my in person footage into physical sessions!

๐ŸŽจ Experience Design
I have a confession! Most people don't know this, but i have a college degree in "Experience Design and Management" Most people have no idea what that means... at least not initially. Put simply: The skill of designing positive experiences for people! (the "management" piece is for business management classes like accounting, finance, IS, strategy, etc) So yes, i studied event design at college. It was a pretty cool and unique opportunity! But within the last few years since graduating (it's been 4 years now), sometimes I lose sight of the magic and possibilities of experience design Events are HUGE projects that require a lot of logistics, planning, and execution. I analyze venues to make sure they fit within budget or scour food menus to see how far I can stretch the food and beverage minimum... and sometimes it's easy to lose sight of the "art" behind it all Recently @Andy Monroe reminded me that we are experience designers first and foremost. That every event is a blank canvas, and although we've done a lot of things that worked well for previous clients, each new client is an opportunity to start from scratch creatively. That's why we renamed the community "IRL Event Studio" This is a creative hub for experience designers, not just "how to pick a venue" ๐Ÿฅ‚ So cheers to y'all, the designers, hosts, and creators here! Don't lose sight of your true purpose: designing experiences that can transform someone's life

@Evan Ezell I want to turn this into a party from here on out. I got distracted by normal business noise. For 2026, I am focused on the community and the people

@Evan Ezell Thanks for the clarification. That makes a lot more sense. I have some of this in my community, but I need to focus more on designing connection and community intentionally
2025 Recap + 2026 Insights
Thanks for hopping on y'all! Here's the recording for everyone that missed it @Andy Monroe dropped some insane sauce about where events are going in 2026.. right around the 24 minute mark. If you're going to watch anything, watch that ๐ŸŽ… Happy Holidays and thanks for an incredible year! BIG things coming in 2026 โœŒ๏ธ๐ŸŽ†

@Sam Greiner This timing is perfect. I have been working closely with Project Serve Beach while growing my Skool community and running in person classes. The in person side has driven a lot of momentum. After running two tournaments this year, I am thinking more seriously about leagues and small competitive events next year. I like the idea of leagues as a filter. People play in a league, build relationships, then move into more classes, coaching, and the Skool community. That feels natural and not forced. I also fully agree on photos and video. Players love getting clips and sharing them. It helps with marketing and makes people feel seen, which keeps them coming back. Thanks for sharing Brianโ€™s league link and tagging Brian. A lot of good ideas are spinning from this ๐Ÿ‘€

@Brian Rushalski I saw that and we even talked about it on the call. I plan to reach out to him and see if he needs help with growth at this early stage. I already built a few things to bring value first. I spoke with him last December, so it is wild to see him on the platform now. I already booked a call. I appreciate you reaching out and I am excited to talk soon

This year I ran 45 classes with an average attendance of 12 people per session. Our new community platform has 266 members on there since we launched in February. Going to reach out to the community to figure out what we can do better. I know I definitely need to improve on the content game and I want an average of 20 people per session next year. Excited to talk with y'all tomorrow!
our 8 figure event content strategy
happy saturday :) i just posted a video on youtube where i break down our IRL event content strategy... ...the content captured at IRL events is arguably the most high-leverage, high-ROI strategy you can deploy since we started doing events back in 2020, we have been able to generate over $10 million in direct revenue from events, but if we included the indirect revenue generated from event content & marketing assets we created from event content, that figure would be MUCH higher i can't stress enough how important it is to have a solid content strategy in place when hosting in-person events enjoy the video, and feel free to drop any comments/questions down below๐Ÿ‘‡

Iโ€™ve been watching how you guys treat event content like an asset instead of an afterthought, and itโ€™s changed how I think about IRL entirely. Iโ€™m cooking up my own IRL plans for next year and this reminded me to map the content side before anything else. Huge value here. Keep dropping the sauce. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
