Try out with a couple of metal coat hangers(if you still have any around), straighten them out and bend one end around 4-6" up into a right angle( 90'). Hold the ends a little loosely in your hands with your arms out stretched and try your luck. I have no problem at all whilst others people don't feel it. Keep walking slowly ahead if you cross a water course the hangers will cross each other on the spot, if you walk on or back the hangers will straighten back to default. Angle always make me laugh after seeing it on a hell's angel leather jacket

@Collette Pedder There could be several reasons, just clasp the ends of the rods lightly, arms extended, between waist to chest height making sure the rods are balanced horizontally; you could try without shoes, go somewhere that has a source water for starters. There are several video's on youtube showing water divining; some people can tell how far down the water course is and what way the water is flowing; using it as a ground survey for broken drains/water courses (some under houses), some how deep the water course is , some think of metal (iron-gold), some use the rods with a metal detector. Me at first I just left my mind blank and let the rods do the talking, then ask questions in your mind and sometimes you get some answers.If you find water course try and follow its course across a field for instance..................B

I think you can communicate around the world by using the earths frequency, which does not require you to use your mobile phone to receive text messages that I believe can be encrypted (handy if the system goes down e.g riot etc) . You can add a mobile phone if you wish to improve its performance. I believe the system is called NORA (might be the wrong spelling), you can buy these little devices (waterproof) add a little solar panel for power and mount it on a mast (as high as you can get(hill?). These transmitters/receivers form a mesh network and are covering the country, Look on ebay, type in Nora or Mesh and try your luck they used to sell then on that site. By the way these smart meters work a mesh network, slightly different.......B

Hi Abi, I'm no expert but I've used linux for about 7 years find it works fine for me. If you download linux mint which has( 3 variants) they all run like windows,you will have no problem, if I remember you can download a live version on a USB stick to try out.
